I have been playing Cradle of Rome and have completed the 2nd to last level. I am now in the Olympus stage. I keep collecting gold, supplies and food and even a citizen but I haven't been able to see anything yet, I just keep collecting. What is really odd is that every level I play I end up with the best time. One round took me 52 minutes ( I had a lot of time clocks) and still it said I had the best time.
Am I the only one to have played this level? Is there an end? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm in the midst of playing this game for the second time. The times the game is recording is specific to whoever is playing it on your computer, so if you're the only player, of course, you will have the best times. The names you see on the best times list are actually of the game developers themselves and not real world players. The game does have an end but I'm not going to spoil it for you....keep playing.

Thanks but I hightly doubt that. There is no way that 52 minutes can be the best time for that round. I am sure a trained chimp could have done that faster than I did.
After playing this game routinely for around 2 months, I've managed to win the game with 14 lives left and collect all the little townspeople but the game has a glitch. I was so proud of myself for finally winning the fisherman only to find out the graphic for him doesn't show up. It's supposed to be a guy with a yellow bucket & fishing pole dangling his feet over the pier. It really bummed me out. The other thing strange about this game is no score board or at least I can't find it. I keep making screen images of the next to last game which still isn't a true picture of the final score and my times. Have any of you been able to find the cumulative score page?

This is my favorite game! I have been playing the free version for quite some time, now, but, suddenly, it refuses to let me play. It goes through all the intro screens, then, when the ad starts on the main page, it minimizes to my tray and will not maximize again. I am using Vista. Any help is appreciated!
