No--iWin has not done anything about the app on the server which displays "Recently Updated" in MEET OTHERS. If you search the forum, you will find a prolific amount of discussion on the subject since it was brooched 5 months ago. The software engineers have more pressing issues to tackle than the display of user rooms, so that's why it has not been addressed. Here are some threads to peruse:

I would LOVE to be albe to disable Carl the concierge with his tips about decorating your room, etc. I know they may be useful to new users, but by the time you've gone up a few floors, his appearance at odd moments is always just annoying.

And could we please have the option of deleting his message back from our message walls? I accidentally deleted my last message from a friend yesterday, so back he popped, but now there's no way to get rid of him again.

How about a BUY BACK BUTTON Like returning an item at the store for credit back. This would help redecorating rooms as the new hotel or adventure is being built. Or I find alot of times I buy items start moving things around and it doesn't work, or I change the whole theme altogether. It would be nice if a button just like buy an item, we could click on item as we would to purchase, flip,edit and would be credited as a return of opals. Even if half price if don't want to return all opals. This way members could redecorate and clear out unwanted items from storage. I suggested before about yard sale between memebers or gifts, and that was answered for me. I understand it would be more difficult to control, or problems with member sales to each other would be much more difficult to program in. I do believe the Buy Back (or call it return item) button would work.

In real life, I decorate extensively for Halloween. I make a cemetary w/ many tombstones-some that move, trees, ghosts, moving "creatures", skeletons, etc.
I have a lot of scarecrows, pumpkins, hay bales, jack-o-lanterns, flowers, & Halloween lights-plain orange & ghosts, skulls, monster, witch, etc.
I have posable skeletons that I dress up as "trick-or-treaters" & dressed up porch kids. I line both sides of the sidewalk w/ them.
I have young grchildren & young children where I live-so nothing gory-ALL FUN!!!

I also would like to see witches, a haunted house that can be set on an end table, autumn flowers,a bowl of candy, etc. AND CANDY pieces!

Trick-or-treat bags that are SMALLER than shopping totes.

Gallon of cider, donuts, apples! AND glasses to pour the cider in

Would love to see some of these items before Halloween, so we could decorate, have a party etc. !!!!

Well here i am again, I pondered this and had decided not to ruffle any feathers at IWIN but I 've now been backed into a corner. At least by speaking up I can honestly say I tried and cannot be faulted. I did not complain when I had put together my generic carnival room, only to find 1 week later Iwin adds the whole kit and kaboodle for sale including the background! How rude was that? LOL Back to point at hand. .Is there not a way to be able to read message board and chat while decorating in room? The same way as in playing an online party game. Not so as too see what others are doing but so that communication is not paused during construction. Speaking for myself there are times I get a room idea and can't stop til I see it through in room. Meanwhile friends (new and old) are leaving notes and by the time I can check when room is done there is Mt. Fuji and it takes forever to answer them all.. By the time I catch up new ones are coming. This is a problem . Though even more of a problem is thaat some people get annoyed or offended if you do not reply quickly when comments are made. This is not good for public relations. Example: How are u today? ans. (the following morning) I'm good. well maybe you were not good when originaly asked aside from th fact that if it's not replied to right away they don't know what u are talking about. They have completly forgotten what they wrote. lol I'm sorry I'm so long winded but i feel this it an important issue that can be fixed somehow. I would hate to lose even 1 friend just because I did'nt answer in time. Its a whole new thing if your not signed in or your profile says busy as in plying a game. But if u are in a room u should be able to chat with friends while u decorate. Oh yes Jam , beach towels, kitchen towels, bath towels, just more towels, towels, towels and maybe then we can give the pillows a rest and those pink and blue his and hers towels.

Decorating your rooms can take time. Some of the beautiful rooms I see I wonder how long did it take for the person to do it. I'm slow. How about a decorating room where you can decorate an unfinished room and lock it (somehow) from other viewers untill you are done with it. The Tech Guys possibly could figure out a way to do this.

Maybe iwin could offer a key to purchase or something.
Now what I do is screen print a room for furture reference and place items in storage if I purchase them. Then when ready to continue decorating I replace items from storage according to the print I made. If I don't finish then I go through the same proccess.

We need cheap people-patrons for our bars, restaurants, spas, shops, etc. Also FRIENDS that can come to visit us. I usually don't flip pancakes at my friend's house!

The people need to be able to sit on the chairs we've bought front & back.

We also need more variety of children-age groups, hair color, clothes, etc!

Planning ahead for next summer's camping season, how about a canoe, a cooler for those snacks & drinks and maybe camping stools or more camping chairs...

Would love some candle holders, table runners and placemats as well for that final touch in our dining rooms.

I'd really like to see a "lock" option on our rooms. After spending hours choosing items and locating them just so, one inadvertent click and everything goes awry. An option to lock the room until changes are desired would be great.

Maybe this would also solve the wandering and disappearing objects problem.

Yeah a decorating room where you can decorate an unfinished room and lock it somehow.

How about a "wish list" so we don't have to go hunting for the items we WANT(but don't have enough opals to purchase@ this time) to complete a room.

Supplies: things for artists... there is an easel but no paint brush or paint etc.

Halloween is over; how about a turkey?

I would like some wine glasses to go with the wine rack. Some grandparents and maybe some younger men/women for those of us who are not yet married. And a gingerbread house for Christmas.

I would also like wine glasses. It would be great to have lots of cute Thanksgiving and Christmas things.

I would love to see some better furniture options (love the Pier 1 stuff!!) more couchs & chairs; and tables that match the cabinet woods; Also some better bathroom items would be nice. My husband would like to see a garage theme background & some items like a car, tools, workbenches, stuff guys use..lol. All moderately priced of course!

I would like to see more picture frames with different 'frames'
some with a very narrow/thin frame, some ornamental frames and maybe different size frames , some smaller ones and some bigger 1's than we have now.
Also more luxury bathroom items,most HOTELS have VERY nice bathrooms ( items ) & more hanging & wall light fixtures.
how about a doorbell that actually rings when you get a message posted on your wall? or a PM?
I also have suggested alot of things while decorating my rooms.

I would like to see some new clothes items like the stylish outfits from Jojo's Fashion Show.
The cute tops, bottoms and stunning heels, elegant dresses with all the accessories. There are some bad male items also. I thought I saw a clothing store associated with this game. I can't really remember, but if so maybe iWin could hook-up a deal with them like they did with Pier 1 Imports.

A drop down menu on items in the store would let people pick their choice of color and free up alot of space in the stores.

Just an idea on how to solve to color problems.

I really would like an apron for the kitchen, a tool belt for garden work, classy PJ's, hiking boots, some punkish hairstyles for my granddaughter, dog or cat beds, a holiday turkey, more food choices(like salad, fresh veggies...), bedroom and bathroom shelf items(such as soap, shampoo, brush, hair dryer, makeup, perfume...), a Christmas tree, wreaths, garland, Christmas stockings, Santa hats for people and animals, more candle choices!, and pumpkin pies. I have a suggestion for the storage option for our things..
Don't quite know where this should be posted or if I should have started a thread...don't know.
Anyway A Suggestion for our storage would be instead of let's say you have 15 bricks in storage ,so while in there you have 15 'windows' of bricks to see/go through and the same with anything else you may have in there.yes I understand the page feature but this would save alot of 'room' if
there was just 1 window of the item with a count of how many of the item you have,that subtracts or adds items as you use them?!

Hey Lioness, I think thats a great idea!

I also think it would be very helpful if they would update the friends list so that we could go from page 1 to page 10 without having to go through each page one by one.
This could be done by adding page indicaters like what they have in forums or in the iWin shops It would really help out those with lots of friends

Besides: I suggest a function that allows to make things more little if they are in the back!

I think we need more clothes for kids and juniors. I also like summer dresses. More T-shirts. More desks. Cheaper things most of all.

Where do I begin? First off, I HATE that I have to keep buying glasses whenever I build a new room! They are a BIG part of my life and a PERMANENT part of my face! Next, WHY does the hair-do I choose for ONE room automatically become the hair-do in EVERY room?!? (AND IN EVERY FORUM AND WALL POST) Curlers work GR*8 in my bedroom or den, but SHEESH! They DON'T work in my party or Christmas rooms! Can you fix that please?

Lets see... since there are things that we need for Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas next year I'm putting in my request early & maybe we will get them. I also put these into the suggestion box. I'm duplicating the list here so that if I have missed anything my iWin friends & neighbors can add their ideas too. Just make sure to put them in the suggestion box too! I also have ideas for other items I'd like to see eventually too.

For parties all year through I'd like to see bowls of chips, pretzels, popcorn as well as dips

For Halloween I'd like to see more candy choices... like some chocolate! We need masks (both whole head & just simple eye masks) and more costumes such as
Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Frankenstein, Mummy, Angel, Devil, Suit of Armor, Crowns (for king & queen), Wizards, Cowboy etc...

For Thanksgiving we need a LARGE FAMILY SIZED TURKEY, serving bowls of green vegetables, corn, stuffing/filling, cranberry relish & potatoes. A turkey dinner plate (like the steak dinner) with all the aforementioned items on it.
It would be nice to have a loaf of bread to be sliced on the cutting board. Bowls (both individual servings & Large) of salad.

More candles in an assortment of colors, sizes & styles... green & blue like the red one we already have, pillar candles, tall taper candles in individual candle sticks, all different colors... white, red, green, blue, purple, yellow, pink, etc

For Christmas some mistletoe, bells (large & small for trees & windows/doors), tinsle/garland that can be used ON the tree, evergreen centerpiece for the table,
angels, snowflakes & gingerbread men for the christmas tree, some popcorn & cranberry strings for putting on the tree, strings of lights for the tree & windows (or individual lights that can be put anywhere) in red, green, yellow, blue, magenta & white. Cookie sheets with asst. cookies on them for those of us that bake,
a plate of cookies & a glass of milk for Santa. A punch bowl of eggnog or apple cider (maybe some in cups too).

In general I'd also like to see an assortment of different sized picture frames that we could customize & put on a table, mantle or piano top. Some black frames would be nice too.

Glasses AND pitchers of orange juice, iced tea, lemonade.

I'd like to see more hobby & craft things... paint tubes & palette or water colors, jar of paint brushes, different colors of construction paper, crayons, fabric to sew/quilt, spools of thread, skeins of yarn for knitting or at least different color balls (like the green one we have), rubber stamps & stamp pads, a camera, jewelry making things (pliers, beads, wire), hot glue gun, individual flower stems that flip from horizonal to vertical...

Would also like to see more Native American items... bow & arrows, spear, asst pottery, drum, rattles, Brave/Warrior, Bald eagle to put on pearch & a Raven.

Additional animals I'd like to see, Wolf, living Bear, raccoon, skunk, wild (brown) rabbit. owl, asst song birds (cardinal, robin, gold finch, bluejay, chickadee, titmouse, bluebird, junco, mocking bird, mourning dove, sparrow, finch, etc)

More shoes... heels, boots for both snow & dress. Winter hat, gloves & scarf . Shoes, boots and slippers that can be placed anywhere (by bed, chair or door.. carried by dog, etc)

Flannel pajama /lounge pants to wear with tank tops & tee shirts. More tee shirts. A teddy bear.

More rugs... different colors like BLUE, no borders, larger size

More table lamps, asst lamp shades to customize lamps & to use with the hanging bare bulb

Some red & yellow roses. More of a variety of flower color (more choices than pink, white & purple)

I would like pier 1 to come back it just didn't last long enough thank you

I would also like to see more variety in LAMPS and SHADES. Also BOWS in small and large in many different colors. We can use bows year round. Also a BLACK speggitti strap bathing suit top and a STRAPLESS bathing suit (for dress designs lol). Some RED flowers. Another LITTLE FIGURE that we can use like Gnomes. I can't affored the pets and people most of the time. I REALLY wish you would make the straw mats BIGGER. We use them to expand rooms and they are to small. And some fashionable HATS and DRESSY HAND BAGS to go with outfits. Definately more CURTAINS, maybe something in brown. Some BLINDS and VALANCES for windows. AND I really WISH the furniture would turn in all 4 directions. I can't place them where I want them...they really limit us in design. And definately either PIER ONE return or another UP TO DATE TRENDY FURNITURE LINE.

It would be fantastic if we could get a storage category for HOLIDAY items. The decor category is so cluttered now with items from Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc. It's a pain to have to scroll through all of that to find things, when those items are only really needed once a year.

That's a good idea kblue... having a holiday shop would really help a lot. I put lots of suggestions in the suggestion box for items for the holidays (hoping an early request will make a difference) if they come through we'll need a place to keep them all
