Have you played Three Days? What is your favorite part of the game? Do you need some game hints? Here is where to discuss it!

I finished the game, but only because I skipped the mini-game where you had to put all of the cargo in the hold. (the second one where you had to pack everything and fill the entire box)

Usually I am pretty good at this, but you can't rotate the pieces, so I gave up and skipped it.
(I feel guilty because I skipped it and won't be happy until I have completed this puzzle)
Any hints?

I am stuck. In the laboratory storeroom, I am looking for the circuit boards. The hint highlights the what looks like a small stack of lumber but when I click on it, nothing happens. And then when I go back to the laboratory, the hint highlights what looks like a box at the very bottom of the screen sort of in the middle and I click on it and nothing happens. Anybody want to help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Puhleeesssse?

[i]OK I downloaded the 3 day game myself last night...It did not stop at the 60 minute trial, it let me play for over 5 hours....Very addictive and fun game, I loved all of the mini games and about the lab and finding all of the pieces and the lumber (when u click on the sattelite object that lights up other objects), I think u have to go back into the lab and solve something and then go back and use the sattellite thing that shows where some objects u need are. I can't remember it all but I did make it through that part..I totally LOVED it and all of the mini games and I think that's what kept me in the gameplay, I hate just looking for a list of things I love to interact with the game. By the way I never received any opals for playing the game but it was 4:30 a.m. so I thought I had better stop playing and go to bed, I could have kept playing on and on until it was finished but I was soooo sleepy. I highly reccommend this game!!!

OH MY GOSH - You were right. I have to use the plasmatron (satellite dish) to get the stuff out of the way so I can find the things I am looking for. Thank you sooo much. I was able to play four more hours until I finished the game. It is about the cutest game I have ever played. Everything is interactive, and all the minigames are interactive with the objects that we found or related to what we just did in a location. Loved the diving for keys and letters. Couldn't get the some of them (couldn't finish that stupid fish puzzle lol) so I was glad they had the option of playing a hidden object location. What fun.

Does anybody know the trick as to how to restack the dishes and the other mini that stacks things in the right order in the right size? I am stumped every time and have to skip and go to the mini hidden object game.

I don't think there's really a trick. Did you see the area below the dishes that is empty at the start? Any time you can't put a smaller dish onto a bigger one in the 2 stacks above (because the dish you want to move is bigger than those at the top of both stacks), just put it at the bottom and start stacking the smaller ones on it until you reach a bigger dish in the top stacks. Then move everything from the bottom area back onto the bigger dish above, freeing up the 'spare' area, and repeat till it's all done.

Remember that you can move several dishes at a time, as long as they are all stacked from biggest below to smallest above. Just click on the lowest dish you want to move and the whole stack will shift.

And be aware that you can stack dishes higher than the top of the shelving unit. (I tried to avoid this at first. Once you know they can go higher, it makes the puzzle a lot easier.)

If you can do all of the other puzzles, this one shouldn't be tricky. It's actually harder to explain than it is to do.

You are right Dinismurf it is probably easier than I am trying to make it. Will just have to keep playing with it until I get it. I got all the mini games - except the one where you have to put the "Tetris" pieces in the cargo hold. But I will probably figure it out, too. I finally got how to get the picking the lock puzzle figured out, I just had to write down the sequence so I could remember the correct order. AND, YES! I finally was able to put the broken fish together. So I am a happy camper about that one lol - thanks for the info!

If I remember correctly, you have to zap the desk and the chair both with the plasmatron to see the spring. I can't remember exactly but I think that's it.

I double checked and I did the library. You do have to zap the desk AND the chair so that they are both gone to see the spring. Also, after that, you also have to zap the chair AND the desk to get the final key to the music box. Hope that helps.

And I am really pleased because I finally figured out how to stack the dishes and the records. It was easy when I saw that it had everything to do with the colors. Each stack had to be the same color.

I love this game and have finished all the mini puzzles except one. I can't figure out how to rotate the clock keys in the library (level 16). There are six keys and when you move one, others move out of place. Any tips or suggestions?

It's not very scientific but I just click back and forth and back and forth until they all line up. It takes a while but I usually get the right combination sooner or later. lol That may not help but just thought I would throw it out there. I found a "hint" guide that says: that you have to click on the keys in the following order:

Click the keys on the safe, and rotate all the keys to be in correct position. The order in which to solve it:
• key 4 turn 3x
• key 2 turn 2x
• key 1 turn 3x
• key 2 turn 1x
• key 4 turn 1x
• key 3 turn 2x
• key 2 turn 2x
• key 5 turn 3x
The keys being numbered sequentially - top row is key 1
Row 2 are keys 2, 3, 4
Row 3 are keys 5 and 6

Hope that helps

Thanks for the help; I did finally solve it by trial and error (for a long time) but don't remember the solution. I'll probably skip it next time I play.

Hi aliyssa1 - can you define what kind of help you need? There are probably people who can help if you have difficulties with the mini games or how to get through the levels. Let us know. Goofy - Moderator
