At this time, there is no way to insert an image directly into a forum message. Unless the image is in video format from Youtube, Adobe Flash or a Windows Media file, can it be viewed in a forum message.

Yes, you can post static images. Hit the Img button above the window where you compose your message. You will get the opening bracket thingie for an image like this: [ img ] (but without the extra spaces). Then type the url for your image (the image has to be posted online to your website space or an image sharing place like Photobucket). Then finish it all off with the closing bracket thingie for images like this: [/ img ] (but without the extra spaces that I put here just to make it show up). There ya go.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... Photobucket will actually format the whole shebang for you with the [ img ] bracket stuff and everything and you just copy and paste to a post here. Let me rummage around in an old Photobucket account here and see what I can find... heh heh... I am a cyber pack rat...
Just a note: You all are welcome to download any of these images to your own computer's memory and then upload them to your own image hosting space and link to them from there but please do not link directly to these images here. I also switch folders and sometimes put embarrassing rude images in place of an image that's been hotlinked so fair warning, ya'll.

Yes, you can post objects off of websites but not from your computer, which I believe was the question.
Thank you for the tutorial on posting images off of third party or personal websites. It is very informative. Does Photobucket allow the upload of screen images or are they only concerned with file format, ie. BMP, JPG, GIF, WMF, etc. ? ~MaryBeth

I don't know if they do screenshots directly off the web. But, you can take a screenshot and create a .jpg or .gif and upload it to a Photobucket account. They are always adding lots of great features. I made a slideshow for my MySpace page.

i wish they would put game requirement's on the game discriptions, you used to do that, but it disappeared. like click on the big coin and see the game requirements, this would be very helpful as i go to other game sites to check on game requirements and come back here and know if a game will work on my pc or not. i miss that option, could it be possible to bring it back? computers are so different, and some are older pc's, it would be a big help if we could check them without leaving iwin! thank you for hearing me out, and checking into wheather this can be brought back.

[b] This really has nothing to do with Hotel IWin. This is about the games. I play the free games and for some odd reason I can't play them. I click on them but it will not load up or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have played for months on the free games & have not had any problems until 2 days ago. If anyone has any ideas or anything that would help please let me know.

i was wondering if my computer is acting up for the last 2 days or if it's iwin having some problems.
When im in a game, suddenly my computer freeze. Sometimes, it kicks me out of game then freeze right after. This does not happens on all the games i play, and not on family feud. This morning, so far so good but the last 2 days was
This does not happens when i play on other sites, or online games.
So i think it is something on iwin. Did anybody had this problem lately?
i'm thinking of sending a ticket, i'll just see how it goes today, and see what you will say about this.

Hello Patouv,
Knock on wood, I have not noticed any difficulties with the iWin game manger or games in general from Friday to today. There could be many reasons why you are having difficulties with your games. Are the games giving you problems free play games, online games or games you own? Are the games recently installed or on your computer for a long time? Is your internet browser working OK? Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files and Browsing History and then reboot or restart your machine. Then try playing those games again. Please let us know if your situation has been resolved or if you needed to file a ticket. ~MaryBeth

As of today, it did not acted up...
it was doing it on both free games and some that i bought. Had it on age of emerald (free), and coffee rush.
Yatze twist kicked me out before freezing, wich is a good thing, had my opals for it.
Also on pastry passion, but only once.
I've play all day today, and nothing bad happened.
only in the hotel, i cant buy anything, but thats another story...

i don't know where to go to ask a probly dumb question, but this is the closest place i could find. my question isn't with a game or the iwin site, but something i just noticed in my room.on the top right side the is a ,box i'll call it. there are 3 things in it and one i have no idea what it means or is for and its driving me nuts not knowing. in the box it says random, then share, then help. what on earth is share?is this new? if anyone here knows the answer to my question, or where to go to get the answer to my question, please tell me, its probly been there forever, and i just never noticed it, but what do you share here? what does this thing mean? this is driving me up the wall, not knowing! please help, before i have to suggest a rubber room! thank's in advance to anyone who can answer this for me.

No rubber room necessary, it's always those little things that drives us nuts. I am a notorious button pusher from the car radio to software radio buttons, so of course, I clicked on all of them. Random Room takes you to another quest's room in the hotel and like the title, it's random. Share has all the popular social networking sites on it, Facebook, Twitter, My Space, etc. If you want to share your room creation and have a page in one of these places, clicking on for instance, My Space, will produce the code for you to cut and paste into your my space page so visitors to your my space page will be able to click on the link and come back to your hotel room here. Help takes you to the iWin Customer Service Center where you file your trouble tickets. Mystery solved. So click on one, now you know what they do. ~MaryBeth

thank's a bunch, i was climbing the walls, not knowing what that was. i blew my pc twice this year, cause im learning on my own, so i learned if i dont know what it does, don't touch it. i had to take everything off my pc and start over like you would when you get a new one. all night long, downloads galore, one after another. you think i would have learned my lesson after the first time that happened,but no i was still curious, and blew it up a 2 end time. had to start all over again, well i learned that time, no matter how much it bug's me don't touch and ask for help! thank's for saving me from the rubber room!

According to David, there was never an "ignore" option in the private message section of the forums and it does not appear there will be one in the future. The only place the ignore option is available is on the hotel message wall. Is this the "ignore" you are asking about?
When I signed in on the game manager just now, it appears a new upgrade to the game manager has been issued, 2.78. Hope it fixes a lot of the problems everyone has been experiencing with the release of 2.77.

I have been playing Jewel quest 2 for a while now as the free game version. It has always saved my scores and levels. All of a sudden, it is no longer saving either. Each time I start the game, it starts from the very beginning. The same thing happens with mah jong quest.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Is there a fix for this problem

Yes, many people including myself notice the avatar changing into a gray silhoutte when performing some type of action in the game manager. Most times it comes back after several operations, like playing a game or going to the hotel. Have not heard whether this item is being addressed by technical support.

The thread should be somewhere on a later page, but I remember reading that if you accidentally hit ignore, it can be undone now if you contact tech support, but it takes time.

I am having a problem with my message wall. I am getting messages from different people and when I press on their avatar to visit the site I get a message saying "That site does not exist".
It has been happening on a daily basis. What does this mean? Is it safe to attempt to go to that site?
I left a message on your wall Mary Beth so you can forget that and answer here if you like. It happened again today.

"This room does not exist" message means a user has set up an iWin login account but has not gone into their hotel room. As soon as the person goes to their room just once, then communication on their wall is possible. You can send messages through Private Messages to anyone with a userID.

I've noticed this a lot when I click on some names on the first entry page of the forums. Also, a person may have stepped into their room and never decorated but if they have a message wall, I leave them a greeting so they won't feel lonely. It is a lot of fun clicking on the names on these forums' first page. You never know what you're going to get!

I had to uninstall and reinstall all of my free play games after the 2.77 upgrade because they were all "acting up". Have you tried that? Here's a link to the iWin knowledge base with instructions on how to do it. Downloading & Installing Games-Uninstalling Games. If that does not help you will have to file a ticket with Customer Support Center. Good luck.

Don't understand what you are looking to accomplish. Every month Terrie chooses a "free game" for iCoins members which can be found in Steals and Deals or on your account page but that game is always a different title. The Jewel Quest series has many versions and modes of play, so having more than 1 game with "Jewel Quest" in the title is possible. Currently, there are 7 different versions of Jewel Quest but they are not the same game. Please be more specific about what it is you are looking to change so we may help you.

Hi MaryBeth
Have double checked.I have bought 6 games. EVERYONE of them has the same bonus game.Jewel Quest 1.Dont mind getting 7 different versions, but 6 the same!
Dont know if Ive "ticked a box" somewhere or something. Would be nice for something new.I understand Terrie picks games etc, but dont understand how I keep getting the same one .
I figure Ive done something wrong somewhere.

You might try looking in the Game Chat forum under those game titles to see if anyone else is experiencing difficulties. Another place to check is the Customer Support Center. Look in the Technical section and click on Game Specific Issues.
Sometimes uninstalling and reinstalling the game works. Here are detailed instructions on how to do that: Downloading & Installing Games-Uninstalling Games. The other option is making sure you're computer is up to date. This link will assist you in determining if your computer is game ready. Troubleshooting Your Computer. Also which version of Windows you are running may have a bearing on the game, so you may want to check that article out also when you're in the Knowledge Base.
If all else fails, you will have to file a trouble ticket. Remember to tell iWin technicians everything you did on your own to troubleshoot your game problem and provide screen shots of error messages.

Having trouble since the new games manager sets off my virus warning, cant display games shop, cant signin,my opals dont go to iwin hotel and to top it off cant copy support to show to bigpond security so they might fix it. only way to get to the site is though internet every time

I am having problems with the rating on the wordscape game..whenever i win my ratings go down..and the loser gets the ratings..ive downloaded the game like the techs told me to do and it does no good...fustrating

What do you mean by "cant copy support to show to bigpond security"? What are you trying to copy? It is your antiviral software which needs to be adjusted so you can get into the Game Manager. Have been getting script error messages all weekend. Shuts down game, no opal credit for time played. May or may not keep rating for last game played. What gives?

I downloaded Jewel Quest II for free and have been playing the game for about a week with no problems until yesterday.
Everytime I log and click on "PLAY" the next screen that comes up is the white picket fence screen with the pink flowers all over it then it goes to the "PURCHASE OPTION" page. The game will not load anymore for me. When I click on the X at the top right hand side of the screen to go back to the page where my games are all listed and click on "PLAY" again, the same thing keeps happening over and over again.
I thought that we could play these games as long as we wanted to as long as we didn't mind putting up with the breaks in the game for advertising.
By the way... The very same thing happens with Jewell Quest Solitaire 2!... Another problem is this:
Both games are showing that they were "PURCHASED", which they were not. I don't get it! Since they were showing up as being "PURCHASED", I also tried to click on the "ACTIVATE" link at the top of the page and when I put my e-mail address in, I get an error message that shows "E-MAIL INCORRECT". That's because I did not purchase the games like it shows! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same thing keeps happening...
Any suggestions?

All of us Family Feud players are having problems seeing the name "Andrew Popa" in every team room..You not able to see any of the players names.. The name is constant meaning "andrew popa" shows 10 to 20 times in all of the room seems like a Glitch or virus I've sent a ticket to support They say aware of the problem and our team is working on it the same c**p as always.. its been a week now something needs to be done about it..So annoying not to be able to see what room your friends are in. Support says not to resend the same problem twice. What are we suppose to do about it? Wait til hell freezes over or pigs fly? We pay for the game take our money and rip us off.. isnt customer service suppose to be #1 priority? I work in retail I should know it is whats up IWIN? sorry for the rank just annoyed

Seeing the scripting errors means your browser is set to view them. Since I don't know what browser you are using, go into the Options or Configuration menus and make sure to turn off the options which allow these scripting errors to pop up. What game are you playing? Is it an online game? Is it shutting down when an ad begins to run? Need more information to provide you with the direction to go to. Another option is to file a support ticket with the Customer Support Center.

FOR rileys_mom - I suggest you file a ticket with the Customer Support Center. If the game was running fine and now is not, the iWin technicians are the only ones who can diagnose your problem.

If I am understanding what you're saying here, iWin is not preventing you from playing, your computer is. Here's an article about this game specifically and instructions to get the game running : Problems with JQ Mysteries 2: Midnight Heart.
To find and download the free monthly game, there are several places you can look every month. The Steals & Deals section lists the monthly free game, your account information page available through the Game Manager, and here: Terrie on Twitter. You can also download Terrie's toolbar which announces the monthly free game. The link for the toolbar is in this blog article: "I Have a Question for You". The last free game to be released is Aboo. There has not been update for a new game yet.
FYI - The forum is not technical support and though monitored daily, is a not a guaranteed location for answers on demand. Your first source of information and for filing support tickets is the Customer Support Center.
