Ditto everyone else's comments. Loved the first one. Really looked forward to this one. Freezes up every time. And I've got a killer-fast computer. I hope we'll get a revised, improved version FOR FREE when they get the kinks out. For now, I'm not playing it any more.

This is a wonderful game. The sound track is great, the games are challanging, the story line is interesting. Too bad it's a piece of c**p.
I am very disappointed. Cannot get this game to run, and now I getting a message that you can't run two games at a time so I guess it never closed. Had to unplug my computer to get out of it. AARRRGG!

I'm very aggravated. I like the game but it keeps crashing repeatedly. I never had any trouble with other JQ games. If anyone knows how to fix this on Vista, let me know.

After taking a long time to load, it wouldn't even open. But that has happened with a lot of the games I have tried to play.

I have really enjoyed both JQM games, and have especially enjoyed this second one. I have been playing it off and on ever since it came out and have had no technical troubles or Opal-awarding problems until today.

First, the game crashed after I played for 57 minutes. Yet, despite the game crash, I was still awarded the 134 (57 mins x 2 Opals/min) Opals I rightfully earned.

Then, second, when I went back into the game to make sure my gameplay progress had been saved, I continued to play for another 2.5 hours (150 mins) and was rather pleased because my progress from the 1st round of gameplay today had indeed been saved despite the error messages I had recieved stating otherwise. So I picked up where I had left off.

Then, when I got tired and decided to exit the game after 2.5 hrs of playing, the iWin Games Manager crashed, which has never happened to me before. So, of course, I was NOT awarded ANY Opals for that 2.5 hrs I played the second time around. I should have been awarded 300 Opals for that gameplay session. And, yes, I'm a bit upset about that. That's a lot of playing for me at one time to earn a lot of Opals at once. I've been planning a room, but I need a certain amount of Opals to spend in order to make it work.

So has anyone else run into this problem of the Games Manager crashing and therefore not awarding you the Opals you should have earned from playing the game you just exited, particularly this JQM2 game? . It's just that I'm surprised that the Games Manager crashed the second time I played today vs. the game crash earlier in the day.

Anyway, please forgive my rant. I know that there is nothing that can be done about this. It just makes me feel bad when I feel I've worked hard to earn a substantial amount of Opals, only to feel like I got kicked in the teeth with the Games Manager crashing at just the wrong moment. Other than all that, I still really love this particular game and have recommended it to other people. I just wish it would be made available to other portals. Actually, I would prefer to buy it retail, like at Walmart. Hmmmm..... That's something for me to think about and consider for iWin exclusive, premium, never-to-be-released-anywhere-else games that I really like, such as the Jewel Quest series, especially the Jewel Quest Mysteries series.

If anyone has any ideas on what happened with my Games Manager (yes, I have the most recent version) or has experienced similar problems with the actual JQM2 game, please let me know if you know of a way to prevent this from happening again? Also, I think I should limit my gameplay sessions to about 1 hour. Play for 1 hour to earn Opals, then exit game to be awarded those Opals. Wait a few minutes, and do it again. It seems that every time I play for a "longer" period of time, such as 2+ hrs, something like this crashing business happens.

Thanks for anyone who can help or just offer a few words of support (because I know iWin CS sure won't).

Cheers,
Christina

I just bought this game tonight. I've had to reboot my computer three times. It is saving my progress, but keeps freezing. I'm a tad disappointed.

There is an article in the iWin Knowledge Base regarding this game here: JQM2: Trial of the Midnight Heart System Requirements. It may shed some light on your difficulties with this game on your system. If your computer meets all of the requirements and you still are having difficulties, you may file a ticket with the Customer Support Center, third tab.

I am having issues with the inventory puzzle in Hong Kong. None of the items I have seems to work. Is this a bug? Do I just have to click in a particular way?

:evil :Nice Game but total waste of money..Takes for ever to load. So far have spent more time waiting for each segment to load then time playing .Curser falters most of the time. It is stated nowhere how much memory is required...

Yes, there is information available. Look up 2 threads where I gave a link to game requirements. •••MaryBeth ··· Volunteer Forum Moderator

Played the demo; was really pleased with gameplay. UNTIL game crashed. At Monkey City Ruins with the chocolate chip and raisin as the first items to find, I found all items and the 3rd piece of the jewel board. Get the completed message. But when it starts to go to the jewel board, game shuts down. So can't finish playing the demo

this game did not work 'right' on my pc (I thought the RAM usage required was 1 MB ) so I deleted the game and checked back on the specs and that sez 1 GB! I would have to double my RAM to 1024 MB and it more or less would use ALL that for just this game ...no thank you

When my free trial had loaded, I responded that I wanted to play. The next screen said my time had elapsed and I could buy it. I never got a chance to try it.

I have tried to play this game after buying it and it displays an error message after the same spot in the game every time. On the part that shows the monkey area at the beginning and you have to use an ice pick to retrieve the board part it won't go any further. I have downloaded this game from someone else and it played without any problem way past this point until the hour ran out. What can I do to fix this? I have removed the game from my computer and reloaded it with the same results. If there is no way to resolve this I would like to be credited with the monies I have spent so I can buy it elsewhere. Thank you.

If you file a ticket with the Customer Support Center before 48 hours after purchase, give them a screen copy of the error message, and ask for a refund, you will get your account credited for this game.

This game seems to play OK on my computer but I can't get it to go to full screen. It doesn't matter how many times I click full screen in Options, when I resume the game or relaunch it reverts to small size. Any Ideas? It's hard to see without full screen.
thanks for any help
