Yes, I like butter, however I don't like the hardness, trying to spread my bread or rolls with it. So, I use olive oil with the softened butter sticks, whipped in the mixer, and then it makes it easy to spread, and healthy too!

Butter, is healthier than Margarines of any kind. Butter is real.

I LOVE butter! It's just about my favorite food and I've got the cellulite to prove it! It goes on everything, tastes good in anything I eat, and you can't beat it for popcorn!

I use real butter for baking, and the olive oil-butter mixture for spreading on toast. Better for you than the fake stuff! What would not taste good with butter?

Real butter on a hot baked potato!!! Or, like goofy said.... buttered popcorn. YUMM!!!!!

Speaking of butter..... After eating Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws' (at the time) home, we adjourned to the back patio for coffee, and to watch the kids and dogs play. At one point, we realized one of the dogs was missing, and found her on the dining room table. She left the turkey and other "real" food untouched, choosing, instead, to chow down on the butter. By the time we found her, she had eaten an entire stick from one end of the table, and was about half-way through the one at the other end. She was an old, fat dachshund, with back problems. We were surprised to see that she could even get on the table. It was a funny sight to see. Boy, she loved that butter.

I know one, actually three things that are not good with butter. Chocolate, hard candy (mint), and fruits.

I make wedding and birthday cakes all the time, and wouldn't DARE use anything but real butter. Flavor is much better, and the quality of the cakes bear witness to the better quality of real butter.

Did someone say butter??? I love a little potato, fresh baked bread, english muffins, vegetables, popcorn, etc. with my butter. I also bake and decorate cakes and nothing beats the taste of butter nor the consistency. Butter doesn't "separate" in icings or sauces like margarine or oleo. Butter makes cookies and pastries last longer and retains the flavor longer. I think the body knows what to do with butter and has trouble digesting chemically or heat treated fats. Yes you can count me in on the butter train, best thing to come out of a cow.

Can you say HEAVEN? Because that's what butter's real name is! When I went to Ireland, the butter there was SOooooooo good; I don't know what they do differently? - maybe it's just those Limousine cows? Also, there's this great tasting butter called Challenge - you can spread it on anything to make (whatever) taste better.
