My first floor is based on the tv show The Amazing Race (I got the idea from the garden gnome)

I once went to a ladies tea in a garden, it was absolutely beautiful and I always thought of it as a "Fantasy Garden" (as I have the uncanny ability to kill even fake flowers!) ... anyway, I designed my first floor based on that garden, of course with my own touch to it! Enjoy, have a cup of tea or maybe plan a wedding ... just relax!

Simple but patriotic...check out my 1st floor

Hmmmmmmmmm.....don't know if my room fits in this category, but it's my 7th floor "what aliens do for fun"

My sixth floor is called, "Faces of War."

My Prayer "Closet" is on Floor 3 in my Hotel.

I initially created this room for the first contest--the Budget Contest where you had to create a room with 1000 Opals or less. I felt like my room needed a theme, and for some reason I wanted something dark, gothic, and black. I loved the Italian Renaissance Dress I was wearing in that room and pretty much designed the room around that dress. However, as I started designing the room with the least expensive items I could find, I couldn't figure out what the purpose of the room was. And then it came to me. It became my prayer room, reminding me of the following verse in the Bible.

Matthew 6:6 says: "But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." (NASB)

When I was a little girl, I learned and read from the King James Version of the Bible, which refers to "your inner room" as "your closet," so that's why the word "closet" came to me when creating the room.

If you mouse over the cross hanging on the wall, you might find a prayer that I change every so often, depending on what's going on in my life or how I'm feeling at that time.

Disclaimer: I do not intend to "preach" to anyone or offend anyone's religous sensibilities, so please read this simply as my own experience in creating a room that means a great deal to me, as it turned out, and respect it as such. Thank you for you open-mindedness.

1st: 007ofnine's Great Race (inspired by the reality show)
2nd: Princess Moondragon's Garden - a Medieval style garden
3rd: Temple of Aphrodite
4th: Campin'!
5th: (um.. whoops! Accidently skipped this one!)
6th: First Contact

I would like you all to see my 17th floor Jimmy's Room.

My 25 year old son was visiting from Virginia this past week-end and I was showing him my rooms. He saw that I had a girl's room named Jacqui's room (that is his sister) and asked where his was.

We immediately sat down, and I admit Grama had to purchase some opals, but , we created Jimmy's Room as he wanted it done. It was time and money well spent. Diana

My husband took me to Europe for our honeymoon (2004) and I LOVED Italy... and I also love music. I themed my 11th floor around a Venetian Styled Music Room, titled in Italian

My 12th & 13th floors are the first & second floors of a Manhattan style fantasy apartment from the last time we stayed in NYC in the The Manhattan Club, on the 25th floor, and had an awesome view of the city spread beneath us. A penthouse floor of a building near us (although not SOHO, lol), had it's own private wood patio, open to the sky, and gave me the idea of having the glass doors open out on the upstairs floor of my own fantasy apartment.

As I keep seeing over & over on different threads about rooms not being showcased, I see my 11th floor show up anytime I make a change, but it's the only one of my 14 floors that does. I have used THOUSANDS of opals on my 12th and 13th floors, so it's nice to have a thread to post them on

Anyone who watches Texas Hold 'em tournaments will understand the name of my room called "Shovel Up & Play" A devilish imp made me do this room & I still chuckle when I see it. Come have a laugh & leave a comment.

I have tried for 19 floors to do a dining room with no success whatsoever. I could never align the table and chairs. It was frustrating. So although this may not be anything special to you, it is an achievement to me.

I spent all day sun. Making a budget room only to find out the contest was closed. Please visit because I did work Fast and Hard on it. I did not know it went that fast.
