Lately (March 2010) every time I try the new game of the day my computer freezes - at first I would try again or again but now I don't bother - if it freezes once I remove it - usually they only last a few minutes before freezing. It did occur to me that it might be my compter although it does plays past games with no problems. I've not changed anything about my computer in ages so I'm not sure what to look at next. Just wondered if anyone else is experiencing this or knows what's going on.

I've downloaded several Match 3 games and they are fun to play with some Ad interuptions but nothing too serious.
But, I downloaded Amazonia and have encounted my first problems with IWin. Firstly it crashes in the second level, I've
tried 3 times to see if I can get further but it refuses to go on. Also, in this particular game the Advert's interupt continuosly
and are are really hard to tolerate. Anyone else have these problems ?

For the last week I've had problems with the free games freezing up and having to cut my computer off, then restarting it to do anything. When I download the trial games I don't have that problem. Is anyone else having that problem? Please visit me at my hotel to let me know. Thanks, I would appreciate any help I could get.

to lonelurker: I have been on iWin for almost two years, I am able to play most free games. If one pops up with black screen or some other silly error, I simply uninstall and forget it and go to something else. This is only on free games. others games, seek for solutions or submit a ticket until you are satisfied. This is a world wide site and could be you need to be persistent.

You might try totally uninstaling the game using your Control panel...I'm no techie but I've read that Extraction errors sometimes have to do with a glitch or problem with the download process so if you get rid of all the files to do with that game and try re-installing again, it might help. There is an article in the Knowledge Base about uninstalling your game that way; here is the link: Why can't I uninstall or remove a game? At the bottom of the article are instructions on how to make sure you fully uninstall the game and all its folders. Then just download the game again and hopefully, everything will work! If not, you should file a ticket with Support to get more help... I've had to do this once to really get rid of a game that my computer just didn't get along with and it worked for me...as I said, I'm no techie so this is just a suggestion but it can't hurt! Have you tried folllowing the steps described in the Knowledge Base? There is an article in there that might eliminate some of the possible culprits that are slowing down the download process; here is the link - Do you have a basic troubleshooting assistance guide? There are other articles for more specific questions so have a look through to see if any of them help. If not, please file a ticket with Support (instructions for filing a complete ticket are shown in the troubleshooting article).

It's hard to offer possible solutions or direct you to the right resources without more information...what error messages are you getting? Are you logged in when you try to install the game from the store? There are articles in the Knowledge Base about Retail purchased games but again, the actual problem is not described so I'm not sure what article to suggest....If you can't find help in the Knowledge Base that gets you playing, you should file a ticket with Support. this is the second time i download the Elemental: The Magic Key, it starts and i get a white screen with a green bar at the middle, thats it... i can hear the music but that is all... does anybody else have problems? i really want to play it, i waited 5 minutes and it didnt move... please and thank you!!

Have you tried searching in the iWin Knowledge Base? There are articles to cover almost every instance why a game will not load or play. Your other option is filing a ticket with the Customer Support Center. The CS techs will work with you until your issue is solved or the problem is purely with your computer. Then they will direct you to resources for computer assistance.

The game is not saving the user preference and game progress files. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if there was not a complete download the first time around. If this still does not solve your problem, I highly suggest you file a support ticket with the Customer Support Center, click on third tab from the left, Request Support, blue text is direct link. They would be best to advise you on what needs to be done so these files save your progress.

I downloaded a free game (Jessica's Cupcake Cafe) and every time I try to play it, I get about halfway through a level and then it freezes. I've never had this issue before. Any idea how to solve it?

If you have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and your problem is not resolved, file a ticket with the Customer Support Center, click on third tab from the left, Request Support. Explain the situation and tell them what you have done in an attempt to correct the issue. If they initially send you a solution which you have applied and there's still no change, decline the ticket. The techs will work with you for a resolution.

I have been playing Maj hong Quest II for free but now when I try and load it, the only screen that appears is the one showing the different options to purchase. I have tried reloading it but still the same thing happens. Are the games only free for so many days?

I downloaded deadtime stories for the 60 min. trial. on my game list it says i still have the 59 mins. left. when i try to play it i only get thanks for playing 0 opals. i haven't played it yet???? whats the problem??/

When you experience going straight to the exit screen upon launching the game, it's most likely something is preventing the game from executing. It could be your firewall/aniviral software, the Windows firewall, insufficient permissions on the browser or antiviral software, your computer may not meet the game requirements, etc. So as you can see there is no one answer to your question. One thing you can do is make sure your computer is ready to play any games on the iWin servers. There is an article in the iWin Knowledge Base, far lefthand side of the page which can assist you step by step going through all of the steps. That article is at this link: Troubleshooting Your Computer - Basic Assistance Guide.
Another thing which happened to me a few times is my antiviral software quarantined the game execution file. So I uninstalled the game, disabled all the live viral detection components of the antiviral package, downloaded and installed the game, started the game for a few minutes, exited out and reactivated all of the components I turned off of my antiviral package. Then the game worked.
If all else fails, you can file a ticket with the Customer Support Center, click on third tab from the left, Request Support or My Support. Tell support everything you did to your computer before filing the ticket.

I downloaded Ranch Rush 2 and I get a screen in the middle of the game screen saying that I need to adjust my screen to 1920 x 1080 and it is. Before I can go out my monitor goes to sleep. I know I have all the system requirements and my computer is brand new. I dont have any other problems with any other games. Does anybody else have this problem?

Hello, Anytime I try to download any type of game for (my 60 minutes) free trial, At the top where it shows how long (in minutes) it'll take, well it takes anywhere from 20 minutes on up, even tho its a small game download. it keeps changing numbers, from 19:35, 40:45, 12:15, keeps jumping around. and it isnt a large file game. I used to be able to download games from here and it wouldnt take as long as it does now. Now I cant enjoy any new games from you, Havent been able to download anything new in a long time. I really miss playing the 60 minute games. :~( I have done everything in here and it still isnt working right.

I've had nights like that when the download time goes up instead of down...from 12:50 up to 19:10 to 20:00 back down...and I'm talking to my computer saying "no, you're going the wrong way!" It usually happens when hubby is downloading something at the same time and it ties up the bandwidth or something like that...sounds more like an internet issue with the time going up and down...have you checked if any other program is doing something in the background that might be tying up the lines/connections? My computer also has this bad habit of downloading upgrades just as I'm getting ready to do something and it slows to a crawl, even small files take forever and we have highspeed! If nothing else is working in the background, then maybe filing a ticket to see if Support has any suggestions may be the way to go.. Good luck! .Dee, volunteer moderator

Hi I downloaded jewel quest 111 trail 30 min but i don't know why it won't run... I installed and chose run program but when I click on game it asks me again if I want to run program and no game shows up can someone help?

Is it normal for games to take 30 minutes to download? I originally had VISTA, but converted to W7, but still it takes forever to download. Just curious if I'm the only one with that problem.

I redownloaded and installed it and it happened again.
As I stated above, something is stopping the EXE file from making it onto your computer just reinstalling the game is not going to solve the problem. Please file a ticket with the CSC; they will give you the instructions for your antiviral software. Explain to them what you have done to remedy the situation.

how do I get a refund? I just paid for the membership, and cannot download any games, i purchased Family Feud, and it crashes constantly. I don't really want the membership, especially since I am not able to get anything to work. I am not happy at all about this. Money is tight, I just had surgery, which is why I wanted games, since I am stuck doing nothing for 3 months. I also see that there are no solutions to the many people that have had the same issues I am. Thanks

To request a refund or get assistance with downloading issues or other technical issues, you will have to file a ticket under Support; look at the top of the Game Manager screen to the right and click on the blue Support button. That will take you to the Support portal where you can file a ticket explaining your situation. This is a user-based forum so users share with each other; yes, there are posts concerning problems but not everyone comes back into the Forum to post when an issue is resolved... sometime the fix is a very simple one and sometimes it takes a few tries to figure out why our computers and the games don't get along...but if you don't ask Support for help then how are they to see what they can do to help?
You could also check the Knowledge Base which has lots of helpful information which might just have the answer to your problems ...As for the membership, if money is tight, you could always just play the free games, if you don't mind the ads...but first, you would have to file that ticket to get Support to get you playing...good luck, whatever you decide to do...Dee, volunteer moderator

I downloaded all of this because of an ad to play Family Fued online for free. After I downloaded everything I at first got a message that said it was for a trial only. Today is May 22nd and it was to last until May 27th. Then it says it's a one hour trial. Then, when I tried to play it said trial had expired. I closed out and got back on. It lets me get to the point where I'm getting into a room and say that room is for paying members only. I can't play it any where!! This is stupid!!

I have a laptop with Vista and I purchased the game Ranch Rush 2 because of how much I loved Ranch Rush. For some reason RR2 will not play on the laptop, it keeps going to the iwin screen saying "thanks for playing." Not sure why this one isn't working when other games here do. Any advice would be much appreciated, I am so looking forward to playing this one. Thanks in advance!!!

The place to get help with technical issues is Support; you can check the Knowledge Base to see if your problem is covered there; just do a search there and see if any articles come up with your issue. If nothing quite covers it, the file a ticket with Support to get help. Have you tried researching in the iWin Knowledge Base on the far lefthand side of the Customer Support Center page? Type whatever error message you are receiving into the dedicated search engine box and hit enter. Links to articles with information on how to resolve the issue will appear in the middle of the window. Click on the link which best describes what is happening. I have been having a problem with downloading. It says that the internet is not connected. Which it is. I can download the manager, just not the games. I have done all of the suggested things on the troubleshooting page, but still no solution. I became a member through facebook, and would really like to try some of the iwin games that are posted, but I can't. And I am afraid if I buy them, I will have problems too. Any suggestions? P.s. I have gone to other tech forums, and have tried everything, I mean everything, and nothing is working. Absolutely nothing is working. I really wanted to use iwin because they have so many more games than Competito. BTW I am having the same problem with Competitor also. It seems that any site that uses a manager I can't download. It says that game information couldn't be gathered or something similar. Please, please help this frustrated gamer, or else, GASP, I might have to do laundry!

i brought a game in a retain store the game is call 2-pack jewels quest III and jewel quest mysteries it spin for a second and then there is nothng a click click that it i gone to my computer to look up d diver to see it in there and it nothing there i took the game back and got enother one and it spin and then there is nothing there again and it a iwin games so a little help please
