Suggest Improvements to the Hotel's Functionality

I would like an Award for joining All Access. I am a paying *member* of iWin and can do everything they can do except things with iCoins. I think that we should get a hotel Award just like they do.

I've just done another room with captions that are an important part of the whole, and to make sure no-one misses them, I had to add a note to the title, which rather spoilt the effect of that. ("For the man I love - captions". See what I mean?!)

I've also often wasted time scrolling in vain over others' rooms where I thought there might be added captions.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a button (say to the right of the title) which lit up automatically if captions had been added to items, or which the designer could click on to light it up?

Once upon a time we received new items on Tuesdays & Fridays, now it is down to to Fridays or really Saturday. Holiday items are good but not for 3 weeks in a row - especially with last years items to add in with the new items - except for that oversized turkey from last year!! LOL! It has been sooo long since any pets or animals have been added as well as clothes. You know we ladies just LOVE our shoes & that is one of the weakest areas in clothes!
The flipping of items would be wounderful as well as not having everyone place items in the same place.
We had so much halloween stuff I thought there would be a contest, but no - just lots of halloween stuff. Some loved it & made great rooms, some didn't & had nothing new to work with all that time.
Ladyhawk4 had wonderful idea that would address most ppls wants & I wonder the odds of something like happening are?
Sitting down...ahhhh...my feet have been killing me for over a year now!!! lol
As I read through everone's ideas they are similiar& resonate with what I would like, it really seems that we all would love to see so much of the same things happening. Are we dreaming or is anything in the works that will address our issues??

I have an idea but it's not really an improvement to hotel functionality. It's about video add on and my suggestion may contain some adverts but not completely. May I post it and no I don't work for this company but I think the idea that I would like to post would add on more enjoyment to the hotel especially when it concerns hotel themes that people like to create. I am asking permission first before I post and if it's okay should I post it here or in a separate post? Actually it's two idea's for videos. I was also thinking that i-win likes either one of the suggestions it may even benefit them and thus I don't wish to step any one's toes and if it's not a good idea to post it is there a way I can send them this idea personally? Is there a creative director in their company that I could send this idea if it's not okay to post?

Storage space indicator

After reading this post I was wondering if it could be possible if i-win could include some sort of way we could know ahead of time how much storage space we have left so in a case of a person stocking up unused items that they don't wind up in this sort of situation. I can can understand the posters frustration in all of this and it would be beneficial to have some sort of indicator graphically shown in the hotel storage space.

For example as indicated here we are allow up to 265 items in storage. If they indicated how much we have in storage verses how much more we have of free space.

I think it would help if we could go forward and back through the stores when shopping. Why can't a "previous shop" button be added to the page with the shopping catagories?

It is so frustrating to have to go all the way around through faces/hair, clothes, interior & exterior, etc to get something to put on the table you just bought.

It would also be greatly appreciated if we could navigate through our friends list more like we can through the forums and the stores! Why don't you put page numbers so that we could go from the a's to the z's without having to turn through each and every page? It's no big deal when you only have 2 or 3 pages, but when you get 250 friends it is a real PAIN.

I also believe that the "flip" feature should be available on everything!

Things like the red, gold & silver tinsel should have the flip option change the item from vertical to horizontal to make then more useable when decorating.

I would like to be able to see which of our friends is online also. It would be good if avatars could sit or lay down. Would be good if we could buy avatars as friends and family, but dress and design them like we do our own avatars.

Would also be able to change my avatars hair style from floor to floor.

I would also like to see more people's rooms "featured". Doesnt really seem like it is done fairly or randomly.

I am curious as to why this thread was opened.
As far as I can see, none of the excellent suggestions, some even from moderators, have been put into place.
Excuse me if I missed one somewhere.
So what is the purpose of this thread?

It would be nice once you purchase an item if you could continue to purchase items without having to go back to the main page and go back to the purchase option. It just saves some time.
Also, there is a glitch going on where if you update your room (buy some more items, change things, etc...) that if you go to "recently updated" that it is not being shown even though it is a room that has been featured.

I totally agree! That would be great. I wish we could pose our avatars and also dress the ones we purchae as we would like (kind of like Sims).
