I just finished my 13th floor room. I had thoughts of creating a wierd 13th floor, but I thought about what I would like to have right this very minute. Being in California, you'd think I have my choices of beaches, but with the rain and storms lately, I haven't been able to visit the beach - so I created my one day a year beach visit. I'm finally taking the time¹ to decorate again; forgot how much fun it was so I can't wait to start on my next room. The room I'd like to share is to scale based on the vertical measurement of the bricks, 6 inches tall. As you all know and I recently discovered getting into decorating again, some of the furniture, accessories, etc. are completely over or undersized based on the sizes of the majority of the furniture. It was maddening trying to find items proportional to each other at times. So without further ado, here's my new living space I call, Fire Wall

If you wish to know where the Meremaids go to rest, join some of them in my newest room on # 23. Very restfull.
Then go down one floor to my beach game. I am a little craby and I bury my head in the sand. It is such a long way to the Penthouse. Feel free to have some esspreso, it will be waiting for you. We all need it to push on up to the Top side. lol

well, since I'm in renos mode in real life, I started thinking about what some of the rooms in our house looked like when we first moved in 25 years ago and where they should be by the time we are done tearing it all apart, room by room, and giving it a fresh look! So, have a look at my 21st floor where I go down memory lane...from the past to the present and, hopefully before I pull all my (greying quickly) hair out, our future basement family room...I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is SO much easier to renovate a room in the Hotel than in real life!

I have a couple of living rooms. The first room I created on a budget. It reminds of a shack I had to live in once. I made shelves out of cinder blocks and planks I found outside. I was young with two small children and very poor. I was lucky to get that shack so we wouldn't be homeless. It was about the size of a 1 car garage. NO JOKE. We had no heat or phone. I lived in PA at the time during winter. It was in the Gettysburg area. My Dad had bought me a space heater which I placed near my baby and young son when they slept. I slept on a pull out sofa which doubled of course for the couch. I also have a family room which I am still working on on the 7th floor. I also have a formal living room on the 6th floor.

I have some nice patios for some fun. I have a nice deck for some sun on the 3rd floor. I have a nice dungeon spot to entertain on the 8th floor. I also have a "Party Patio" on the 11th floor. If you have any suggestions let me know. I almost forgot. I have a Spa patio just off from the pool where u can drink margaritas and have a soak in the hot tub on the 14th floor.
