I think it was a paint roller. It was something to paint over the letters. It's in the garbage cans.

The friendly arrows are painted on the side of a trash can or something like that. They are over by all that stuff on the left side of the screen.

Heh... "in the same chapter". The locket is on the porch, the piggy bank is in the workroom, and the earth-friendly arrows are in the slums. The location where I know there is both a crescent and a key is the workshop (different than the workroom). Find their locations by selecting the blank area below to see the hidden clues:

The cresent is in the window, to the left of the ghost. It's golden.

The key is on the front of a box stored in a cubby below the work table, top cubby on the right

Hope that helps! In LFN, you can always buy a camera to give you a hint where several things are, or buy a clue for one item.

The handprint is on the car window. BUT, at times in the game it isn't readily visible, because it's a handprint, like a fingerprint. So, you might want to dust it with something to make the handprint show up.

Remember that in each scene there is one item that needs to be "put together". Maybe you should look around for a fingerprint dusting brush, hmmm?

(Hint: it's not too far away.)

Guns use bullets, right? Maybe there are some bullets somewhere.
