Nope. You haven't missed a thing. Talk about anti-climatic! Not even a cliff hanger like the rest of the series. Maybe JQS IV will improve on story and length of game play....I hope.

I thought the climax of JQS III was pretty cool. I would love to have additional solitaire games added to it. It would be more of a challenge. I hope IWIN comes up with a follow-up to this version of JQS. We loved it. I see I'm way behind the times in posting my thoughts on the game -- sorry -- Doris

I am playing Jewel Quest Solitaire 3 on a Macintosh; I have encountered a serious problem with the "extra layout base" card on the "Peru, Level 7" game. When I click that card to create an extra layout base, the card under it does not turn over, so I can't access that card or any cards under it -- which means that I'm unable to complete the level.

I had problems similar to this in previous levels: if I used an "extra layout base" card before the stack of cards on the far left (wherever it might be in a particular level) had been all revealed, I would not be able to turn over any more cards in that stack. I got around this by working to reveal all cards in that stack before using the "extra layout base" card ... but that doesn't work in "Peru, Level 7," because the stack of cards containing the "extra layout base" card IS the stack on the far left.

I'm guessing this is a bug in the Macintosh version of the game?

Since this web site deals with PC games only, there is no immediate information on your Mac version of JQ III Solitaire. There is one article in the Knowledge Base covering offsite Mac games here:iWin Mac Version Games but it does not mention any support available for them. The only way to find out further information would be to file a ticket with Customer Support Center, third tab from the left, and ask where you can obtain an answer to your question. I'm sorry I could not be of further help.

I'm using a MAC computer and having problems.
I purchased jewel quest solitaire 3 and the game doesn't work all the way through , it gets frozen on the left side card, the techies know this problem and sent me back my paypal money and i'm still waiting for the game to get fixed and updated so that i may play the game all the way through.
p.s. I notice many forums have deleted this same issue that other Mac users are experiencing also. Please advise when the game gets updated for us..... thank you !

Humm, I clicked on the link in the post near the top and the topic has been removed..I've deleted that post as well so it doesn't confuse anyone else...anyway, that topic mentioned that the iWin person who handled the games at the time had posted a clue in her April 1, 2009 Blog...so I went looking and indeed she does give some clues and even a spoiler. I'm not going to post it here but here is the url for the blog and her clues... http://blog.iwin.com/2009/04/free-calendars-and-jewel-quest-solitaire-3-hints/. Good luck! Dee, volunteer moderator
