MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY:My favorite holiday would be Christmas since you get to spend time with your loved ones and trustworthy friends. Even though my nightmare would be bagging clothes over Christmas in the boutique store, I will still have time to enjoy Christmas time with my family, giving gifts, singing jingles and carols, decorating our Christmas tree, and the best of all, a big Christmas feast with all of our relatives and friends. Think of all the red and green neon lights spark up across the snowy, wintery street. Snowflakes falling from the sky, children having fun, making snowmen, snow angels, and snowball fights. Parents and grandparents walking down the street enjoying the sceneric view, trees waving "hello" to everyone and the cars that pass by. It's just a magnificent imagery to think about. It's the season of thanks, mysteries, and tales.
It's got to be Christmas for me too: I love the traditional food, I'm also a sucker for tinsel, baubles and twinkly lights, but most of all, I really do enjoy hunting around for presents that will be 'just right' for the people I love.
Then on Christmas day, it's like it's everyone's birthday all at once.
And I even get to play boardgames in the afternoon, which is one of my favourite things to do.
That's sweet. I take my daughter, Pria, out for trick-or-treating every year. She really gets excited when she receives candy, chocolate, fruits, granola bars, etc. She likes any type of food including spicy ones like jalapenos and Indian curry. We usually decorate our front lawn with fake pumpkins instead of real ones because I don't want to carry a decayed pumpkin with fruit flies playing around it. I'm not planning on making pumpkin pie, I like the processed mixes better.
For the night, we just put on some Halloween music for 2 hours and give kids Smarties since a lot of people out there have allergies to chocolate and peanuts. It's a good time to get rid of some unwanted candy for some people.
