Mystery PI Lost in Los Angeles is coming July 22nd. Be sure to check it out, it's a great hidden object game. Here's your place to talk about it.

Mystery PI Lost in Los Angeles has dropped down to regular price, if you've been waiting to buy, swoop!

I absolutely LOVED their first game, Lost Lottery Ticket, from then on, the games went down hill. Lottery Ticket had the best graphics, the objects were excellently hidden and I played for 12 hours straight until I finished the darn thing. When the next game came out, Vegas Heist, couldn't wait to play it. Wow, what a let down. All they did was throw a punch of clip art on a background; passed that one up. Then came New York Fortune, it was an improvement in some scenes but same-ole, same-ole for the rest of it; passed that one up, too. Unless this new game mimics their first creation and offers 16 to 24 hours of play, I won't be buying it either. When this genre took off in popularity, the quality of games went way down so games could get out of production and to the public in a hurry and it showed. I would love to be surprised by the original forumula of terrific graphics, well hidden objects and a decent amount of play time; it's the only way I'll buy it. JMHO

I have to agree with the last two posts. Lost Lottery Ticket was the best and after that the games were too long (I can't believe I'm complaining about that, most times their too short) and just boring. And with this new Premium Game thing, I'm going to be taking a long look at iwin and and doing some thinking. I bought the new Jewel Quest and that that 2000 opals was a little steep but have loved all their games. What a disappointment, a 2nd rate game at twice the price. So, I will play the trial but I'm not sure I'm going to be buying it anytime soon. Guess I'll make a cup of tea and play Lost Lottery Ticket. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Dex, Mystery PI - Lost in Los Angeles is more of the same. Same puzzles (match 3, round flip circle puzzles, jigsaw, match related items. The only thing that is different is the locations. Graphics appear to be good but if your looking for bigger and better, this isn't it.

Dex, if you like the set-up of the Mystery PI games, although you probably already know this, the Amazing Adventures, the Lost Tomb, and Amazing Adventures Around the World are both made by the same game people. I don't know if I can say who they are made by so I won't. But those two have the same kind of locations, hint system, puzzles, etc., and I like them even better than the MPI series. They seem to be a little more entertaining - to me at least. Have you tried these two games?

I enjoyed playing Lost in LA, as I have the other games in the series, but wouldn't buy it because I was able to get so far into it in just the 60 minute trial. That's the reason I've never purchased any of the games from this series. Love the graphics, but the play is too easy.

I have tried the Amazing Adventure series but find them to be just like any other HO game produced in the last 6 months, a whole bunch of clip art thrown into a scene. I do like the mini-games in between but do not like the "yard sale" look of this latest batch of HO games. There was one HO game I really enjoyed and of course thanks to senility can't remember the name, but you had to play mini-games to upgrade detection tools and the graphics were great and objects well hidden. Wish these companies would realize consumers do notice the difference between high quality and well engineered versus thrown together chaos just to make a buck. I'll do the trial for this game and see if it's quality or more of the same going on in the HO genre.

OK - I'm done with the trial. Though Lost in LA is close to the quality of Lottery Ticket, I would not pay a premium price for this game. The mini-games are not different in structure and it's the same old repititious cycle of search a set of scenes, find two repeated objects in each scene to unlock unlimited seek & find session, and be awarded a clue after each successful set of scenes. If they would have thrown in extra activities or devised new mini-games, I might have bit. This is JMHO.

Try leaving your game and exiting to the main menu. Then start your game again. It should return you to where you left off and start the match three puzzle over again, and theoretically should let you make all the matches so you can continue.
