Its raining big time now, the day before yesterday it was 28 C degrees (82 F) sitting under the fan in my apartment.
Everytime wishing I had bought the airco on sale. but today i don't need it anymore i need a warm sweater.
Its so funny not only translate language but also temperature (C/F) and distance (Miles/kilometre)
and time, I asume the time on the forum is US time? I am witing this at 23.30 GMT+

It came here to California! It's been in the 100s here in B-town for a couple of weeks now. I've been staying in my air-conditioned apartment as much as possible. But at least it's dry heat! Humidity in the teens makes it not quite as bad.

Hey, that's okay, not all of us speak metric! And the forum time is specifically Pacific time (GMT -8 I believe). The US has I think 6 time zones - 4 for the continental US, 1 for Alaska, 1 for Hawaii.
I wish you could send us your rain, we're in the middle of yet another drought year.

Hi all--Upstate New Yorker here--Warm and muggy(finally, a taste of summer)--in the 80's--gonna rain(again) tomorrow--I'm not gonna complain about the rain, though--I have a private well and the rain is welcome--especially when the very same well has been real low in the past. Hope everyone has a great day--if you find me in wordscape say HI!!

Well pony, I'm in the midst of a nasty thunderstorm with hail which means we could have some funnel clouds or tornadoes so have to keep a watchful eye on the sky and an ear to the TV or radio. The sirens have been going off all afternoon. It is 2:33 PM or 7:33 PM GMT or UTC. I live about 70 miles north of pony in Wisconsin and like the saying goes here, if you don't the like weather wait an hour or so, it'll change. Lake Michigan plays a huge role in the weather of states surrounding it. Wisconsin is bounded by 2 Great Lakes, Superior and Michigan so the weather is always hoppin' here.
yeah, dex it's trying to rain here, all i'm getting is big drop's that just make's everything wet, then stop's. i know it's coming, at least it's trying,

Long Island Ny here and whattaya know its freakin raining! It rained the whole month of June and I THOUGHT July would be different, but Iam now giving up hope of having a hot summer
Montreal, Quebec here. It' is about the same that prytee. It is raining 3 days out of 4, needs to wear long sleeves sweater in the evening most of the time.
It's cold on some days, but other days, it is hot and we need the fan. The pool and the beach is not a good idea so far this year. patouv
Well, here in Colorado we've had hot weather all week, with some tornadic winds and hailstorms. It was awfully close to 100(F) here today, and dry as dust. I kinda liked Oceanside last month; much cooler and mistier.
In Southern Ontario, Canada we have so much rain my basement is leaking and my gardens are flooded with about a foot of water. It doesn't feel like July
It's hot and muggy in New Jersey; sitting by fan in my undies!! Getting ready to rain. Hope it cools it off some; will probably make it more muggy, if that's at all possible!! lol
Summer here in Chicago has been unseasonably cool, but I love it. Anywhere between 75 to 85 degrees.
Today it's partly sunny, but breezy, good day to lay out in the hammock with an ice tea!
It will get between 99-102deg F today and tomorrow outside Portland OR. Yesterday I stayed indoors with a/c--it was 102deg. I'm going to the community swimming pool this a.m. It's indoors, so should be mildly cool water.
uhuru1701, this alway's happen's to me. even when we aren't expecting a storm. it's murphy's law, and my life story! lol. when it's supposed to be hot, it's cold. mother nature just wait's to get me!
Just went to a garden party in England (in-laws choice, not mine), where it was so damp and cold everyone turned up in sweaters and raincoats... but they still sat outside, huddled against the wind as they tucked into egg & cress sandwiches.
I'm in Toronto, Canada...this summer has been pretty depressing!! Its been pretty much cool this whole summer with some warm days. Today is hot with a cool wind (if that makes any sense)..I miss the hot weather (minus the humidity)!!!!!!!

I love London, Ontario and Storybook Gardens. We must have been driving down a special street or something because all the houses we saw were beautiful and looked kind of special the way some houses in San Francisco have a special look.
If I was ever going to live anywhere outside the USA, I'd have a tough time deciding between British Columbia or Ontario.

I live a few hundred miles south of you and can say our summer has been just like yours, cool and rainy. The only times when it did get warm, we were slammed with oppressing dew points above 65 degrees F, then when another cool front came through, a couple tornados ripped through the countryside of two small cities. Sheesh, what a choice cool-damp, warm-muggy, tornados. BTW, I love Tornonto; it's a beautiful city.
This thread has stuck in my mind, so a little while ago I decided to look away from the computer. I faced The Great Outdoors like Dracula facing the dawn. Instead of horror, I found that the weather here is, well, dark. It's night here. Right now at least.
It's a great day here in Illinois. Sun is shining, birds are singing. Dogs in the neighborhood are barking. I think I hear a saw - is someone cutting down a tree? Who cuts down a tree at 9:30 AM? I hate trees. I mean, their good to look at, but those noisey birds stay in them. and then the birds attack my car, so I have to keep it in the grarage. Sometimes I dont want to keep my car in the garage. Sometimes I just want to pull into the driveway and go into the house. Instead I have to look for the remote to the garage door. I lose remotes a lot - I know - put them in the same place all the time and you wont lose them. But they get lost anyway. I spend more time looking for remotes than I do watch TV. Which means I'm not up to date on the news. Cant watch the news without the remote. So I spend all my time looking for my remote, and by the time I find it I'm too tired to watch the news. Then people at work talk about news stuff and I have no idea what their talking about because I didn't watch it. It makes me feel dumb. Trees make me dumb.

Hey, it's a start, right?
*returns to cave*
I'm going to be an evil influence on you and make it very easy for you to not get up from your computer. Heh heh... You can still know all about the weather and even have a look around Australia without ever leaving that ol' computer.
My remotes are missing too. I think the remote control company makes them have hidden legs and when you don't look they walk away so you'll have to buy new ones all the time.
Why thankyou Uhuru (I keep almost calling you Ahura, from Star Trek ) I appreciate that. I actually have B.O.M bookmarked so I can actually see the weather in motion.
For those who don't know, B.O.M stands for the Bureau of Meteorology.

Dude, you *really* gotta watch M. Night Shyamalan's movie, "The Happening."
You know, the funniest thing I ever saw was when my mum went to work in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The place is a desert, right? I mean, it rains so rarely that when it does, she says all the women go nuts with fear and discombobulation.
Anyway, when she'd settled in there, she sent me a link to a live web cam they had on the top of one of the buildings there, just so I could check out what the weather and the place looked like.
Now, what got me was that this webcam was updated EVERY THREE MINUTES.
Like, you wouldn't wanna miss a cloud passing by, would ya. LOL!!!

Watching sand in the desert could possibly be very calming. Sort of like watching paint dry.
