Hi all!!

I have played all the Jewel quest games, and I've even started them over. Right now I am stuck on the gold level in Iceland!!
I'm not sure how to check my points in this game. The 1st two kept a tally, but where do I find out total points in JQ III??

I enjoy the Jewel Quest games but how do you win at the gold level. I just can't seem to do it at all on any of the games.

Alot of perseverance and patience. Sometimes I don't play for a month. Then I go back with a fresher attitude toward the
game and sometimes break the level after a rest from it.

Oh, also, when I'm really stuck, I do go to a few sites for some tips & tricks. If you want to know which ones, PM me!

I am stuck in the Pacific Northwest in the Hidden Quest. I have followed the Strategy Guide which indicates that no more than 3 pearls can fall from the board during play. I have done this many times but to no avail. How do you do it? I also have no clue as to how to do the string of 5 coins in Africa's Hidden Quest. I have only those two left until I get to Japan. How do you do those? I would appreciate any help.

For some reason every time that I start playing after 60 minutes it comes up with a pop up that says that I have to purchase the game. But I have already purchased the game, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I,VE JUST RECENTLY GOT THE GAME AND I,M TRYING TO UNLOCK SOME OF THE COUNTRY PLEASE HELP. I HAVEN,T BEEN IN THIS WEB SIGHT VERY LONG SO PLEASE DON,T DELETE THIS SO SOME ONE CAN HELP ME. THANK YOU

Hi Jeanne61,

You post wouldn't be deleted; deletions only happen for a few reasons, like not respecting the Terms of Service or posting nonsense or just smiley faces & things like that...you posted your request for help in the right topic so you won't even be moved; bravo for finding the right topic thread! If you could be a bit more specific in what help you're looking for, someone may have an answer or suggestion for you. Good luck!

And just a side note of posting in all caps. On the internet whether it be in emails, instant messaging, newsgroups or forums like this one, typing in all caps indicates shouting. I don't think you meant to shout at us but in future, just use regular initial capitalization sentence structure, like you would do in a note or a letter.

I bought this game from a competitor and "i Win Games" comes up on intro screen...so i imagine you produced the game and thats why i'm here....

After playing around 10k tournament games my ratings were dismal, i rarely won and my best was 3 games in a row. Beat global average 22%... Seems your ahead and suddenly the opponet jumps ahead 1000 points in a blink....i had read all these complaints on a blog also from many people.

I happened to go back to the original purchaser and noted the file size differed from the one i downloaded...on a hunch i got the newer one and reinstalled.

Today i tried it and won 21 games in a row...in 50 games i have beat the global average about 47 times....the game has crashed 3 times and never crashed once before..

My question is....did this site replace the original file with a fx or have you recently ironed out the bugs in the game?

Are you sure it's Jewel Quest 3 and not Jewel Quest 2? Jewel Quest 2 has the "Dueling Jewels" Tournament mode where you play games against an opponent's previously played game from all over the world. Jewel Quest 3 is about Ruppert and Emma racing over the globe to find an antidote for their daughter's eyes after she opens a spore laden artifact. The board is played to open levels to world countries. The location of that thread is here: Jewel Quest II. The only other Jewel Quest version involved in tournament type play is Jewel Quest Online Party but that does involve actual live play with other gamers and presently, that game is free.

I'm enjoying the game although my progress is a bit slow. At first, I was confused as to how the "map" worked (the various color "buttons" and the levels of quests. Thankfully, I found the strategy guide and that should answer most of my questions.

The guide can be found at Do you have a game strategy guide for Jewel Quest III? in case you need it.

GrannyGamer

fixed your link to thte Strategy guide...Hope it helps! Dee, forum moderator

I see a lot of "I love the game" comments and few and far between actual helpful posts. I am posting on my mothers account for her. She purchased this game a while ago and I installed it on her first Dell. A couple of months ago she bought a new Dell. I have installed the game on this new computer and it will not play. The IWin Games window that comes up with her other Jewel Quest game comes up and constantly says there is no internet connection and won't let her play Jewel Quest III either online or off. I have found no way to insert the activation code(and yes, I am aware that there are only a limit of 3 installations per purchased disk... this would only be the second for this game). Any constructive help would be greatly appreacated by another knowledgable player or moderator. For some system information it is a Dell Quadcore AMD Phenom X4, 3Gb RAM, 750Gb Hard Drive, And a G-Force 6500 Series Video card(I forget if it is a 256 or 512). I am sure that I am over and above system requirements . The Operating system iis the Windows XP downgrade from Vista special order from Dell pre-installed.

Thank You in advance for any help

Hello Ozzmom --
You have posted in an area dedicated to game strategies and game reviews. It appears you are having a technical issue which would be be better addressed in the: Peer to Peer Game Technical Help Forum, dedicated to game problems only.

What you may have experienced is either your browser settings or antiviral / firewall software not allowing the installation files to unpack the game. If you go to the iWin Knowledge Base Articles on the left hand side of the Customer Support Center page, you will find dozens of articles addressing situations which prevent gameplay. The KB has its own search engine; just type in your computer's symptons and help articles will appear in the main window. The other option is filing a support ticket in the CSC, click on third tab from the left, Request Support. Thank you.

In the future, please remember to check forum subheadings to determine where is the best place to post. To locate specific topics, individual threads, or game titles in the forum use SearchWin.com; it now features a targeted search of the forum. Thank you.

Same thing with me. I KNOW for a fact I have completed the Hidden Quest in the Pacific Northwest more than once, but it never gives me the jewel or credits it. I got through the five coins, mostly by luck. It took about ten tries, but on one try, everything fell into place and i got it. All I need is the Pacific Northwest to go to Japan.

Has anyone gotten past the Hidden Quest in the Pacific Northwest? I do not think it works. I have tried for days, on and off, and I know I have had less than three pearl fall off of the board, but I have never been granted the hidden quest. Has any one got past it?

I completed the Hidden Quest for Africa 5 jewels horizontally, did the level in the time limit and I didn't get a jewel awarded. I have done this several times. Not sure what I have to do.

This is the only quest labelled on the map - says Hidden Quest

Watch the bottom corners. You will need to stack 2 the same in order to have a chance. It is hard but doable. Give it a rest and come back.

HIDDEN QUEST, PACIFIC NORTHWEST: Okay. I figured it out after much frustration. The strategy guide is correct in that no more than three pearls can come down off the board in order to complete the board. So choose a board in the Pacific Northwest, you only have to complete one, so choose one of the boards, I think it was Whitehorse that I used (sorry, I didn't write down which one I used, but it was one of the four that are clustered at the bottom on the map) Do not try to use Dawson, it will not work to only have three drop on that one since there are more spaces below and it would be too tough to use that one. So have the pearls come down the center of the board to open up the spaces to the ones below it so you can do your matches. It is a challenge to not let more than three go off the board, but seriously after doing these puzzles repeatedly, then just really carefully watch the pearls coming down and make matches with them so they don't drop to the bottom of the puzzle. When I first read the hidden quest, I misinterpreted it and did the puzzles more times than I care to talk about, and nothing happened because i was letting more than three drop off or I wasn't keeping track. I'm glad I found this site today to help me out and wanted to share what worked for me, even if it sounds confusing.

Subj: Jewel Quest III
Location: Central America
Quest (Gold)
4 of 6 Areas Complete, still have Uxmal and Copan.
I need to complete these two areas before I can move on. It seems almost impossible. When I realized I could not defeat Sebastian (because he always moves first). I was told I had to go back to complete the Gold Quest in Central America. I am almost ready to give up, but I am so close to the end of the journey. It has been almost one year I have been working on this Jewel Quest III. I completed Jewel Quest II months ago but this makes me want to give up. I am very discouraged because I have used every strategy I can think of and worked very hard to get this far. I have opened all the boxes several times but then run out of time. It’s not fun anymore.

Jewel Quiest III - I am so frustrated with this game I am not going to play it again....(famous last words).
Is there some strategy for this game. I am stuck in the last of Africa (Spitzkoppe) and I have been there for months. I give it a whirl every few days but I can never make the time limit.
As far as I can see you can not plan your moves because whatever you think will descent does not. This one is too hard and I am fine with the others. Wish you could turn off the timer just so I could get through it. A waste of my money.

Someone posted a link directly to the Strategy guide in this thread; look about half-way down this page...look for grannygamer`s post. The game does require a lot of patience but it can be done...if you think this one is tough, you should try the latest one, Jewel Quest Heritage! Very challenging indeed in the expert levels! Patience is the key! Good luck!

I may have made a mistake buying this game. I am older (62) and have had a stroke so it is impossible to do things quickly. I have asked how to turn the timer off but I think this can not be done. In reading posts here, "normal" people find levels hard and I can see where that is a good strategy; but unfortunately for me this makes the game impossible to play. Is there anyway to change the timer?
