It was a little slow starting at first but as the faeries gathered or worked more things did progress. You'd just have to be a bit patient in the first bit. I thought it was quite interesting.

This game was really fun. It was kind of far fetched but it was fun. You have to take care of feries, make new ones, and try to restore life for feries on the island.

At first I struggled and thought what a lame game, but shortly afterwards I got the hang of it and loved the game.It gives you time to do something else (while the fairies are gathering ) and when you come back you are awareded with beautiful images .The end of the game was quite poetic
The research for the story of the game wasn't too bad either. I would call it an action game ,but more one of a relaxing one.

This game was pretty cute. It sort of reminded me of virtual villagers and those kind of games, but with fairies. I really liked the mini games, usually I hate them in most games, but in this game they were pretty entertaining. You could also kind of customize your queen fairy, not a whole lot of choices, but it was kind of an added bonus. Overal I liked this game. 6/10.

Totally LOVING this game! But I wouldn't call this an action game. Avalon is all about Faeries and their beloved but almost forgotten home that has to be restored to its former glory by waking up the elements that are the source of magic. You play the game by studying your surroundings with your faeries that can evolve into 3 special kinds - gatherers, wizards and enchanters. As the game's a lot like Virtual Village and Wild Tribe when considered the time using and the fact that the game continues even though you quit, Avalon is a much better and the graphigs, sounds, mini-games and overall gameplay are stunning and worth the experience. A lot of patient is required since the tasks take a lot of time to finish. Enjoyable slow-pased game and surely worth trying, if not buying.

Avalon is a great surprise for me. The game is very good and addictive. Just to highlight some points, the mini-games are very nice to play and I love the idea of a persistent world where my fairies can keep flying. Recommend for Sure!
BTW, the graphics are wonderful.

I felt the trial was ok and actually purchased the game. Now I feel ripped off. Not much to the game finished in less than a week. I finished it before I even received my cd in the mail. Should have different levels not just 4 places to search. You ripped me off. I should get a free game now I think.

I like most action games, but this one was from another planet! I invested about 20 hours into this game to walk away clueless about my efforts! It was very intriguing with the attractive graphics and soothing music. I may give it one more chance WITH a walkthrough!

I found this game kind of boring. It's mostly watching the faries fly around the screen doing different chores and waiting for them to cast spells that take a while. And even watching them is boring. Maybe it would pick up later in the game, but I played the 60min trial and have no interest in buying it.
