this game is tremendous! it has great sounds, good graphics, and the gameplay is great. several of my family members tried this out and loved it! Lex makes lots of funny comments throughout the game, and the additional word powers make the game more and more interesting! all in all, a great game!

Bookworm Adventures, sequel to BookWorm Deluxe is probably the best game sequel ever made. It takes the act of building words to a completely different level. This game really entices you to make words because in this game, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! In order to defeat the enemy, you must think and spell..and the larger the word, the more faster you defeat the enemy before they defeat you. The graphics in this game are fun. You'll be hooked. This game is a must for any parent who wants to challenge their child to spell...and when they aren't playing this game, parents will have fun being challenged with BookWorm Adventures as well. Well done game!

I loved this game!!! I was playing this game with my younger brother, and we were having so much fun!!! By the time that the trial ended, my little brother was practically SCREAMING at me and my mother (who ended up with a headache) - BUY THE GAME!! BUY THE GAME!!! In my opinion, the gameplay is very original, but I found the music... annoying, heh heh. The graphics were better than I expected though.

One of my all time favourites. Good graphics, and the excitement of trying to slay the different characters build up to almost fever pitch. You think you have done a good word and then you die, you think you have done a not so good word, and you survive, but through it all, its exciting, good for the mind, trying to spell words to save yourself. Especially like the mini games, and overall, one of my favourite games. You can leave it and come back later and start where u finish. Recommend it for those that like scrabble games and crosswords. Keeps you on your seat for hours. Would like to see a Bookworm 2 series.

One of the most original word games on the 'Net today! Helping Lex spell three- to sixteen-letter words to vanquish enemies from Trojan soldiers to roc chicks and their mother not only tests one's vocabulary and spelling skills, but selecting the right treasures to improve Lex's fighting prowess also challenges skill in planning. Using power gems was also very inspiring, and watching Lex exchange both blows and insults with his adversaries added just a little bit of "attitude" to the game. Throw in a few minigames and an extra game mode or two--not to mention some pretty smooth animation and an intriguing plot--and you have something that's clealry worth paying an extra ten dollars for. All in all, PopCap made an excellent game, and I encourage them to continue making such titles in the future.

Overall I would purchase this game because it kept me interested all night. This is a great game for children in school as it helps with spelling. Graphics were great!!!Sound I assume was good but I never listen to it, and game play was great. I list this at the top of my list of games along with the "find the object games" like Ravenhearst. More games of this nature would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovable Lex is back! If you thought the original was addictive, wait until you wiggle your way through this new adventure. Join Lex as he head-buts monsters in his search for the Damsel in Distress. The creature descriptions and dialog boxes are hilarious. I played it a second time just to read the bits I missed. My husband and I are delighted to have this new Bookworm game.

I throughly enjoyed this game and had wanted to purchase this and so I came to Iwin since I have bought other games and enjoy them over and over. I highly recommend this to friends who have played the original version for the shear fun of seeing the Little Guy beat the Big guy! Its such a blast what they came up with from Story line to play line! It has kept me very entertained I even play it on break time.
