Interesting, challanging and excellent HOG reversal to finding the objects. I love being able to play the game in reverse and figure out the objects. My trial period went by way to fast and I really want to find out the rest of the story. Great to be able to think outside the box on this one. Enjoyable, fun, entertaining and it made my brain work as well which is always a good thing.

I rather enjoyed this new twist on
the classic HOG game. The storyline
is gripping, and makes you care
about the characters. The gameplay
is interesting, in that they give
you catergory titles, and you then
find objects that relate to that
category. There are hints as to
object silhouette, object name,
and location which are availible
if you choose to use them, and
the card minigames are fun.
The graphics were very well done,
the sound was fine. There were two
drawbacks which really bugged me,
which was the fact that the game
changed my screen resolution and
my desktop taskbar/toolbar
disappeared. I had to reset them
manually, and that was a huge
minus! Four stars.

I didn't like this one. It has poorly thought out scenes and object lists...Billards isn't a sport, but darts is? It's hard on the eyes and the hints quickly become annoying. I feel I wasted 40 minutes giving this one a chance.

First, the story line was, well stupid (in my opinion). I am retired Army - so that just did not click for me. I love Hidden Object Games and I did like the twist on finding them - fruit instead of 1 banana, 3 strawberries, etc. Concept is good, but it needs some work.

While the approach to gameplay was fresh and innovative, the graphics and storyline negated, times 2, the appeal of Broken Hearts, A Soldier's Duty. The story was so junior high, it was insulting along with the grammatical errors so often seen in games developed in non-English speaking countries. And when was the last time you played a solitaire card game to ease the loss of a loved one? Bizarre concept there, I believe. The graphic's software used to illustrate this game must have come from a 1980's garage sale in Silicon Valley. Because of the primitiveness of the graphic's package, it was very difficult at times to decipher exactly what the object was displayed on the screen. Many objects looked like blobs of play doh or simple geometric shapes.
This could have been a great HO game with a better graphics package and a more adult plausible storyline. Thumbs down in my book.

I really didn't like this game, but that has more to do with story content(I was a military wife,'nuff said)than the game it's self. But the game was good. I liked the twist to it, but I wish the graphics could have been better.
