This is hands down the most graphically, beautiful game I have ever played. But honestly it is also the most boring...the pieces were difficult to find but all yo have to do is just click all over the page until it shows up with no penalty.

The graphics were excellent and I liked the story line, but that's about as far as it goes. The hidden objects are drawings and are extremely hard to find - gave me a headache! The paintings are beautiful, but the drawn objects are to obscure and you can't tell what they are. Sorry, not for me.

graphics were outstanding and the music was great. but i thought the objects were well i didnt think some of them even looked like what the should be, there was no way i could play the object list useing the word. i also found i could click all over and lost no time. attractive to the eye and ears but for me no fun to play.

Excellent graphics, loved the sound and the gameplay was very interesting and different. I actually feel this is the way HOG should be made as it truly was not easy to find many of the objects. The painting and color are wonderful. I enjoyed this game, was different, relaxing and fun.

The illustrations were lovely, the soundtrack, too, BUT (and it's a big one) I breezed through the pages and I think I could easily finish the game in another hour or two, tops. Unlike other games, I don't think there's much reason to replay it, unless one would like to try searching for the items from a list instead of sketches. It would be exponentially harder that way, but no more rewarding. A lovely bit of eye candy but shallow as a puddle on the sidewalk.

Though the artistry was fantastic, it was extremely difficult to find the hidden objects because they had to be distorted to fit the illustrations. It was a subjective search rather than objective, the artists eye versus your own.
The mini games were the same type produced by this company in their other games, picture quiz, find the last doodle and build the final illustration by random tiles. The sounds were unique. I had not heard any quite like them in casual games.
Though it's obvious the illustrators for this game are extremely talented, the outline format of the raw uncolored picture made play difficult and frustrating at times. I was clicking randomly around unusual folds in the fabrics hoping it was a needed object. I won't be buying this game.

I read the other reviews before playing this and i shouldnt've bothered playing it. The graphics and sounds are great but like the others said, its so hard to find the hidden objects, but you can continuely click all over the screen looking for them with no penalties. Not worth downloading in my opinion. So i'll try another game.

Family Mystery is very well done. It is extremely different trying to find the items. And the puzzles are unique. It is well worth the purchase.
