Before you say anything about the low rating, I have to let you know I am a huge Jewel Quest fan and have them all. That being said I am so horribly disappointed in this game that I just don't know what to say. There is entirely too much dialog, the graphics left me feeling like I was reading a kids book and the jewel board gets cheaper and cheaper each time, refer back to the origional JQ and compare. There are some really good ideas in this one i.e. extra challenges on the game board itself and being able to play in relaxed mode, picking characters etc... but I still just found the game lacking. Dare I say it may have gone the way of too many of the same kind thing...maybe? I am sad to say I don't think I will be adding this to my collection.

I'm a huge fan of the Jewel Quest series, and love this game so far. I wish there was a better explanation of all the abilities and how to utilize them and am trying to unlock as much as possible to get my 5 ratings. Love the continuation of points and the new boards. Can't wait to keep venturing into new realms. I love the new characters and variety that they bring to each board.
I feel each Jewel Quest keeps improving. I'm happy to see this one take a lot of features from the Sleepless Star game and incorporate them into this one. I LOVE the ability to continue moving while the board is completing - best improvement yet! These boards are definitely tougher to get a 5 rating on.
Worth the money and a definite challenge.

A Big Winner! Glad to see there is a relaxed mode for us who aren't good at timed games. Love the variaty this one has. Worth the money.

It's the mixture as before, but it's a very good mixture. There are some innovative touches, the best of all being the fact that you can make a move while the board is still completing rather than have to wait for it to finish.
My only objection is the rather coarse lavatorial language used by some of the characters. It isn't necessary for a game like this to resort to such vulgarities. it never did in the past and I'm sad that the designers have chosen to go down this road.

Man! They spent so much time blocking my view to read instructions! Then would remind me of my goal so often that I hardly got to play! I'm not stupid! I can remember the goal on my own! Besides it had only been a few seconds since my last move! In the area that needed clearing! Give me some time to play the game!! Very annoying.
