Mysterious Worlds: The Secret of Oak Island User Reviews
Wow - not at all what I had hoped. I really liked the story line of this game so I was enthused to play but my enthusiasm faded quickly. First off, the game crashed my windows explorer so my system requested I restart explorer before I could even play the game. As far as game play goes, the graphics are grainy in full screen mode but are better if you minimize the screen however, that makes finding the smaller items difficult. Very slim on instructions - you waste time trying to figure out what they want you to do in some areas. In the museum I found all the items, but did not realize I had to use the magnifing glass on the portrait because again, no instructions, so I wasted a good amount time figuring that out. Finally, when I was inside the portrait of Captain Kidd finding the objects, the game crashed my Flash Player so the game quit. It could be that this game just does not like Vista OS, or it just has some major bugs! Either way, not a fan of this one

Way too easy. Clues way too easy to find. Graphics pretty grainy. Probably good for kids or beginners. I found all clues for each room in about 10-30 seconds. I am real glad I tried before I bought. I was at the last level in my hour trial.

The hint compass wasn't terribly helpful. And there's no 'help' section to explain anything if you happen to click past that point too fast. A previous user pointed out that if you went back to the menu in the middle of a level, sometimes you didn't get returned to the exact same level of progress. Not a bad game, but it's not a true, total search and find. There was also numerous code puzzles, a spot the difference, and one of those nine cube sliders that I usually reserve for spots in my nightmares. Had I not found a walkthrough, I think some of the speciality items would have escaped my grasp. I'd rate it lower except the story line really is darn inventive for once.

When I first downloaded the game I also got a message that windows had crashed, but the game still played like normal. I like the game. I would probobaly download the the full version when it comes out. I am curious to see how it ends. It is a very easy game to play and understand.

I couldn't really get into the game. I downloaded it and wanted to play, however when I hit play I received a message that there was an error and the game shut down. I uninstalled it and installed it twice and got the same thing, it shut down. Very dissapointed.

I loved it! Then I couldn't get the game to open. So, like a fool, I bought it thinking that was the problem. WRONG. It will not open. says "my temporary key is expired." Now what in the world does that mean???

I am not at all happy with this game. It does not save, so when you restart, it takes you back to the very beginning! Frustrating. The graphics are poor and very grainy. Unfortunately, I bought this one. I am a Hidden Object nut and this is the only one that I really disliked.
