Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords User Reviews
Addictive. A new and different take on the match-three style of gaming. The game sort of is a combination of a role playing game and a puzzle/ match-three game. Essentially the player takes on the role of a hero or heroine and completes quests by "battling" opponents in a match-three puzzle. The game seems to change based on the quests one chooses to complete and it really keeps one wanting to play more. Or at least it kept me wanting to play more. Graphics are sort of anime like and depending on the screen are either quite rich or quite cheesy. All in all this is a well thought out game and is easy to learn to play. I througly recommend it.

This game is a great new twist on a match three. Combining the match three with skills and damage to create battles was ingenious. I almost didn't try this game but now I am glad I did!
Great fun and challenging for its simplicity!

Honestly, there are just no words to describe how awesome this game is!! Twenty minutes into the demo, I knew it was a keeper, and I exited out and bought it right away, so I didn't have to stop playing when the demo expired.

I cant say that Im all that good at match three games, but I have played some creative ones. And Puzzle Quest is by far the coolest and most creative match 3 I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I give this game a full 4 stars across the board. It was more like I was playing a bonified RPG than anything. Puzzle Quest was turn based had interesting spells and an interesting story line. If the world map was any indication of the size of this game, it is in a word Epic. And if I had the funds I would have already bought this game. I admit it starts a little slow but quickly draws you into the wold. If that wasnt enough Ive never had a match 3 offer mounts, companions, and the ability to capture monsters and learn from them. This game is on my list of all time favs. Keep up the good work.

This game is rocks! I have to buy it now. The perfect blend of RPG and puzzle. Not so challenging that you rack your brains (or google) for answers. Just good quick match three games with a twist. Enough characters and classes to give a good choice for all but not so many that it takes forever to choose. Almost immediate game play with battles and puzzels and quests. Perfect for a quick RPG/puzzle fix or for a longer time of escapism! Can't wait to see if it becomes a MMORPG.

To describe this as a match three game is a devastating understatement. It is a game of strategy involving the concept of matching. The battle system is simple, but winning battles becomes increasingly more difficult as the game progresses and the choice of weapons and spells becomes ever greater. The final battle, if you ever get to it, takes a lot of winning, and there is a real sense of achievement in finishing the game, but, as a bonus, you find that the game is replayable adopting a new persona with different skills and abilities, four characters in all, and the experience will be markedly different. Or, if you wish, replay the same character and make different career choices and see what happens. One of best games ever produced, incredibly good value, and enormous fun.

This is one of the best games I've played! It's so addictive that my whole family got into it and fought over who got to play next. I love the different combinations of spells, weapons, armor and runes you can create. It takes a lot of strategy, and it's more complex than just a puzzle game. It also incorporates an interesting story line and adventure. Thumbs up on this one!

Finally an RPG that appeals to casual AND hardcore gamers!
You can jump on, do a couple bejewel-styled games or you can play it in story mode. Story mode offers all the standard RPG elements. You can level up, get new skills, spend stat points, earn gear, etc. Even better though, the game also offers new and original ideas, like the citadel. You can upgrade your citadel to capture foes, learn their abilities, craft new weapons and armor, lay siege to other castles, and even learn to ride captured enemies as mounts!
The music is beautifully done and goes with the game, and the graphics are pleasing to the eye!
Only a few complaints. The storyline is a bit cliche. It's not horrible, I just wish they spent more time thinking of creative names. For instance, one of the bosses is called the Dark Horseman of Death. Also, the AI seems to be a bit too lucky at times, it can aggravate you-though the developers have proved it's not rigged.
Worth every penny and more. Hope you enjoy!
