I love Jewel Quest 2. I like level 4 (Hani's quest). There are NO burning monkeys. Thank goodness.

This thread needs a little life

I normally play JQII tournament mode. I'm what I would call an average player. My overall stats are 45% wins. I tracked 100 recent games, and my stats improved a bit to 57%. But still, pretty average. And yet, I always see this figure called the "Global Average" for each game I play. And I noticed that I almost always beat the global average (for those same 100 games, I beat the global average 88% of the time). Doesn't that seem odd? Shouldn't those figures correlate a bit more closely? I'm just musing here but if anyone has any insight into this, please share!

this sounds like a challenge to a math whiz...or nerd if you prefer! Come on, someone out there must be able to explain this one to us. This has puzzled me as well! I may work with numbers but I've been out of school WAY too long to figure out this stats puzzle.

I got down to a 100 rating but I am on the way back up again. I would rate my skills around the same as yours but what I am finding on the trek back up the ladder is that I am winning the games by a great deal now. My opponents appear to be those on the way down. I haven't had a decent heartstopping game for a few weeks now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice a change...not that I'm complaining about seeing my rating go up, but this is kind of freakish. Seems like every opponent I play against lately is new (?), because they rarely complete the board to move on to silver coins. That was a rarity a short while ago. I hear ya, Gatorau, it's nice to win but where's the challenge?

Oh, and coincidentally, I get an occasional error when a match finishes up, something about server string token missing. If I click Retry, all is fine again.

Getting exactly the same thing, ladydi. Server string is missing or incomplete 0/8 I believe is the message. And I can't remember the last time my opponent completed the board. I am getting a few new Personal Bests but a lot of the time I am more than 2000 under my PB and still winning.

I'll look out for you in there.

Is iWin using bots in Jewel Quest 2?

I am beginning to think so...and if that is true, that really XXXXXX.

After more than a few "miraculous" wins on my part, I started really watching how the opponent was racking up points. It seems to hold back when I'm behind. These aren't newbies on their way down, because my opponents are rated above the initial 1500 (and yes, so am I, but undeservedly so! I used to hover between 100-200, occasionally flirting with 300 .)

Can we have some word from iWin on what has changed? Playing against a bot that lets you win every time is kind of pathetic.

That's the thing. I got down to 100 then all this started. I used to recognise some of my opponents because I would occasionally meet them more than once in a session and go "Aha! We meet again!" and try doubly hard to win against them. Now I just win. Period.

I'M BORED, IWIN. NUKE THE BOTS.

I no longer have any doubt about the use of bots in Jewel Quest 2. The naming protocol is obvious. They all have a name followed by three digits. The behaviour is always the same. They never finish a board. Ever.

The bots have killed this game for me.

Ok - Botshead Revisited lol. Got back to 1500 then the bots disappeared for a bit. Got up to 2000 and they're back. 10 sheets to the wind tonight and the bot sotpped playing completely at under 4000 score.

I won.

The server string message will disappear if you retry. That's a server error and hopefully is being addressed by iWin.

The freeze may be issues on your computer. What are your computer specs? Do you run an antivirus at all? have you scanned for viruses and/or malware? Cleaned up temporary internet files? All these things can cause issues.

Issue with the gameplay is the board running out of moves. IMHO that should never happen. It's detrimental to the gameplay. There should always be at least one move left.

In JQ2, there aren't rooms as such in Tournament play. It's all one on one. Select Tournament at the opening splash screen after Play Game for JQ2 is selected.

If you want to go into a Jewel Quest room, select Online Party Games at the Hotel iWin screen then select Jewel Quest from the Online Party Games selection.

They are two different styles of the same game.

Just notched up my 500th win in JQ2 Tournament play. I play as Lint from Your Navel.

I am so stuck on 1-2. I have no more specials and only 10 lives to go. How can I get past this?

I just started playing Jewel quest 2 and I have had to start over three times. I made through to Emmas Apology right before the Falls, It took me back to Ruperts Heartbreak Level 1. I played through that again and got to Emmas Apology and it did it again, took me back to the beggining and I am getting frusterated with it!! I do have my scores registered in the high score part, but I would like to know if anyone out there knows how to get back to where I was In Emmas Apology and what I may be doing to reset the game back to square one. The boards that I have already played are locked again as if I were a new player, but I have not put in a new players name, so I don't get what is happening, and I had played over 18 tournaments, now it says I have 26 more to go like it said in the beggining. I want to keep playing, but this game is messing up and I can't figure out why!! Maybe someone out there can get me back on the right track!!
thx

Hi. I am also stuck on back to Africa Level 1-3. I have been stuck for days. Any suggestion as to how to change the board? It is no longer giving me the option to change boards in exchange for a life.
Thanks
