The Adelantado games are quite expertly made and despite their lenghth they have very few bugs and inconsistencies, also are fairly non-linear which is always appreciated. With this final book I wasn't able to finish the last chapter, though, as at some point there's nowhere to go, the way is blocked in all directions so I'd really appreciate if there was a hint showing you by what the way is blocked. Otherwise really good, hours of fun, pleasant music, cute graphics and great sound effects. See more See less
I LOVE these Adelantado games have played everyone more than once. This one has better stuff. When the guy collects the items, he then picks them up. In the other ones you have to click on the items for them to pick them up. Didn't have sound on. Wish they were come out with more but as you can see its a Trilogy. See more See less
Why do people do that, can't rate!!! Well ya did one star it. Thats a bad rating for never playing the game. It took awhile to download on mine too, so I went and did other things to pass the time. I enjoyed all three games glad they finally came out with the last one. Good game well worth the wait. See more See less
I like this series, and this third entry is fun, I had issues too. TMI basically. I really dislike Don Diego because he can't shut up! He constantly bosses you around. If you don't do what he wants as fast he thinks you should he just repeats himself. By the time I got to Part 5 I was SO enraged when he kept on and was totally unnecessary telling you to build this or that, or that bldgs needed to have their efficiency restored. New players to this, once they reached part 5 they KNOW what to do by then. I found myself shouting profanities at this idiot, and that's pretty sad, that I was reduced to yelling at a game character. But that's how frustrated I was. The dinosaurs were kind of cool at first but that grew old fast. The Raptors attacked with a vicious singlemindedness that made the cave men look like boy scouts! The third thing and I never liked this in the original either is how big the caves were. Some went on and on. Other than these issues the game was basically fun. See more See less
Another great game in the series. Couldn't play Book 2 but this one I have been playing, even tho at times the animation slows. So far I am into Part 2, and I love all the new things in the game such as the attacking dinosaurs, which is a big relief from the cavemen. They are fewer in this one which is a relief. Love the new plants, buildings and all the different ways of finding hidden things. The caves were a mastermind by the game developer as you had to puzzle out certain things to achieve the goals. My only criticism is I feel they went overboard a bit in expanding the territory. There was SO many areas even in one location, to go and build, or fix, or replenish and you also had the other location as well, that it got to be a bit much. Also at times I was low on wood or food and it seemed to take forever to get what you needed for say, an altar, so you could advance and no trader. However all in all, I recommend this to TM lovers everywhere. See more See less
