a good hog but it has so many problems. The potion section .. the map keeps sending you back even though you have made the potion and opened the door. The packets a seeds did not work for me at all, just a magnifying glass that would not turn into a clickeble item. stuck there so if anyone can help please do so. otherwise an interesting game with lots of toing and froing See more See less

As an adventure game lover and a HOG hater its difficult to find an adventure game without the HO scenes but in this one there are no click penalties and a map which are always a plus. For HOG fans, I think the hidden objects are very hard to see and you can click on an object several times before it registers. I played on expert mode as I dont like hand holding but when I did ask for a hint the shamen told me to do what I had already done so obviously a gliche but I havent let that affect my rating. Overall, it was an ok game but didnt have the wow factor and left me feeling a bit flat. I wouldnt buy it but its worth the all access download to pass a few hours. See more See less

I have to admit, this game got off to a slow start for me. The beginning has you in Africa assembling materials for and constructing voodoo masks. Some people might like this, but it wasn't my cup of tea. Once you get transported to the gloomy mansion though, the game picks up, imho. I think they could have left the beginning out completely, but others might like it. The rest of the game was fine, although I agree with another reviewer that the HO scenes were a bit fuzzy and indistinct. There's a map that shows you where to go next, always a plus, and the hints are very helpful. If you stick with this game, I'm sure you'll like it. I loved the creepy little doll roaming around the place. Enjoy. See more See less

It was a good game alot of figuring it out as you go.The Indian got stuck telling me to brew decoction in garden lab.I was way past that stage. Just kept going with instinct to finish game. Used map quit often to see areas over.Good adventure game. They left it open so hopefully there will be a follow up game. Enjoy. See more See less

Overall this is not a bad game. It's the kind that's definitely worth playing while you're waiting for something else to be released. Plan on using the hint button for hidden object scenes. Many of the scenes are so dark that you will either need a hint or will accidently click on a listed item. Also there were a few instances that the hint pointed me to an object I had already clicked on several times. The mini games are well done. Imaginative. The one in the shaman's hut reminded me of the game Mousetrap. The running around is not a problem as a map is provided to get you from one place to another. See more See less
