I like the Build a Lot series and have played most/all of them, but this was my least favorite to date. Graphics were disappointing and the gameplay took a step back from other Build a Lot games by offering nothing new or special. I've come to expect a little twist in each new Build a Lot but this one was disappointing and a little dull. See more See less

This is the first Build A Lot game I've played and I like it a lot. It's similar to other time management games except you're pretty much a realtor/developer. Kind of neat since I used to dabble in real estate a bit. See more See less

I actually finished the whole hour. Spooky music, low lights, creepy looking houses, all nice if you like that. But the rest of the game is still the same. Buy houses, upgrade, paint them.Buy material and then maybe sell them for profit. Build police stations and fortune teller house because this is all soo spooky.Personally I like games better when I actually see people etc, so I am not sure I would buy this because even with all the spooky stuff I find it rather boring. More interactive and slightly better graphics than previous BAL games. Yes, the 2D is reminiscence of games past, but this is the 21st century. The graphics are slightly better, offering more shadowing for a 3D effect. While playing, you have to collect cerain...artifacts...for the fortune teller. Although some are tired of the voodoo, witchcraft themes, at least this BAL offers a bit more than the last. See more See less
