Game Description

Professor Pierre Aronnax, his assistant Conseil and the harpoonist Ned Land are captured by Captain Nemo, who travels the world's oceans on board the Nautilus submarine.  Although impressed by the beauty of the seabed, our three friends hope to escape and return to their lives on dry land. But Captain Nemo thinks otherwise... Can you help them escape?  Beware, the apparently peaceful depths can hide terrible dangers! (Inspired by the Jules Verne novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.")

This would be a great game for a juvenile just learning to play adventure games. Gameplay is very simple, the parts are not hard to find. You do have a choice between timed and untimed (I played untimed),the hints charge quickly, but this game is so straightforward you probably won't use them either. The graphics are bright and entertaining, and I assume the sound is pleasant as well. Overall this game was a little too adolescent for my taste, but would be awesome for people with a preteen in the house. See more See less

You have the choice of playing timed or not. Not sure I would have placed it in the HOG category, more like an adventure, just like jkuci says. The screens change and want you to locate additional objects. But some of the names for the objects were very off the wall. As Tracy_Marie says, it said tables and when you used the hint it turned out they were actually speaking about one of the statues that was located off screen. The minigames were actually not very engaging, graphics were too small to understand what you were looking for. Storyline was taken directly from the book, parts were actually verbatim, word for word. Reaction time to the mouse was sluggish. It was slow and too repetitive. Gameplay overall very, very slow. This is a game I will not buy iWin. See more See less

I am very glad that I didn't purchase this game. The developers really should have had someone who was more fluent in English. String instruments were called rope instruments and sheet music was called a partition. Not exactly correct... See more See less

OK game. I thought kind of boring. Very simple. Just a game to pass the time. Didn't have the sound on. See more See less
