Even though I'm not a western fan, I thought this game was a lot of fun. Hints and skips worked fine, don't know why one reviewer said they couldn't skip. And for another viewer who said there were too many HO scenes, well, if you really like HO, and I do, there were just enough. They mixed them up a bit too, some were items from a list to be located, some were shapes to be found, others were finding a number of tools, or whatever. Also, the mini-puzzles were not overly hard and I was able to play most of them. The music was sufficiently eerie. This is a good game overall. Enjoy. See more See less
Played this game a year ago, enjoyed it then and enjoyed it now. It had plenty things to do it told a whole story and had a good ending. Some people are so spoiled, how can you enjoy a game if ya hafto use hints and they don't work the way you want you just give games a bad rating because you all are spoiled. People wake up it is an adventure,HO game stop having your hand held and play it. You rate games one star because why? If you don't like them don't play them and ruin for the rest of us Thank You See more See less
I played this most of the way. Had to stop because of some technical issue inside the game at the Conservatory location. I was in a straight ahead h.o. scene from a list and it would not place the last object which was a belt. Not by clicking on the actual item or trying to drag the silohuette. It would not move. You can't skip a hog scene, so I would have been missing a necessary item. That sucked. Also this game had too much dialog, too many actual ho scenes, and some of the mini games were too tough. It just irks me that I wasted my time because I would have tried to finish it but couldn't because the developers screwed up. See more See less
I thought this was just a little above average maybe. I didn't like that there were too many straight ahead h.o. scenes for my liking. Everywhere you turned and sometimes in each location there were more than one! Also there was too much dialog or story. I love a good story too, but I felt this was overdone. The mini puzzles were pretty simple for the most part. Just an okay game. See more See less
Very simplistic game. Easy to play, every move is dictated by a cutscene of a person/ghost directing you to find/do a task. The mini games and hidden object scenes are easy. There is no challenge to the game. The graphics are almost 1 dimensional, flat. The 30 minute time limit is a hinderance. I was trying to see if I wanted to buy the game and didn't play it long enough to see if it got any better. I don't recommend this game for those enthusiasts who love HOG games. There are too many that are better. See more See less
