Game Description

Three things stand between you and your children - a jungle teeming with danger, the ruins of an ancient Mayan tribe, and a band of thugs - and you're not going to let any of them stop you! Assume the role of Joan Jade, archeologist of the year and mother extraordinaire, as she searches for hidden objects, solves mind-melting puzzles, and beats one ingenious mini-game after another. Along the way, you'll visit dozens of beautifully crafted locations and uncover a story of nail-biting suspense.

While the game has some very nicely drawn graphics, and excellent music for a casual game, almost every other part of it is very poor. The storyline is very random and is also told quite poorly. There are a lot of plot holes, and you'll never end up caring about the story. The puzzles are nice, although they really don't fit the scenario. You'll get to solve each puzzle a number of times, and while there is a slight progression of difficulty, even the hardest puzzles are still very easy to solve. The (otherwise good) hint function is never necessary. The same goes for the hidden object scenes (which are very few, in case that's what you're looking for in this game). I like that the objects fuse well with the backgrounds, but all the scenes are way too easy, and identical on every replay. On top of that, the tropy system is broken and has no effect on gameplay. There are far better games of this kind out there, don't spend your time or money on this one. See more See less

I agree with mummykins4. The mini-games were interesting enough the first time I played them but after that they got so boring and repetitive I skipped most of them. I'm not a fan of mini-games, especially if a game bills itself as "seek and find" or "hidden object". Getting oil to pour through the pipe at the top into the pipe at the bottom is NOT my idea of "hidden object". I suppose this is an ok game, but I couldn't really concentrate on it for all the boring mini-games. The music was nice, though. See more See less

This was a lot of fun. The mini puzzles were challenging but not so hard to frustrate. The story was ok. The graphics were good. I would recommend this game for anyone who likes HOG's. See more See less

Did anyone notice how they flat out stole the music from Alan Parson's "Old And Wise" in parts? With no credit to the band. Other than that I liked it. I guess they figured noone old enough to know that song would play a video game. LOL! See more See less
