Edwina is back in another adventure. This time her husband Tom is kidnapped into some castle. You have to rescue him by sundown or he will be trapped there for 300 years. You have a map that you can click on and go instantly to a place once you unlock certain doors. Until then, it is the dreaded arrow movement. The HO scenes are easy and plentiful and the mini games can be skipped. Edwina's voice can get a little annoying and there are times when she talks that you cannot skip through it. The graphics are good and there is back and forth, but not too much. You have characters along the way that help you, but it is not worth twenty dollars. Sorry, iWin. See more See less
The visuals in this game are just beautiful. However I found it to be very challenging to play. The hints are okay and there IS more help which I chose not to use for the demo hour. Even so, just figuring out some of the games (and there are a LOT of them)left my head reeling. So far, most of the games are NOT typical, except for the HOGs, which was nice except for the mentioned difficulty. It's been ages since I've been so undecided about whether to buy a game or not. There are many scenes, places to go, a map, an inventory line AND a keepsake line for the drawings your character makes. Plus surprises when the scenery moves unexpectedly! Overall, I'd say this is one complicated game with a lot of potential if you have patience and like a challenge. I'll be interested to read what some others say about this. For better or worse, it does stand out from the crowd. I think only playing the demo for yourself will do the trick. I just can't give you a definite thumbs up or down! See more See less
