Game Description

After her boss in a high-powered Washington public relations firm is caught in a political scandal, fledgling lobbyist Dempsey Jo Killebrew is left almost broke, unemployed, and homeless. Out of options, she reluctantly accepts her father's offer to help refurbish Birdsong, the old family place he recently inherited in Guthrie, Georgia. All it will take, he tells her, is a little paint and some TLC to turn the fading Victorian mansion into a real-estate cash cow. Before long, what started as a job of necessity will somehow become a labor of love and, ultimately, a journey that takes her to a place she never expected--back home again.

This is a game that I've replayed and replayed so, I gave it 5 stars for the Overall (story) even though all the other aspects are rated lower. One of my all time old favorite straight HOGs. See more See less

Liked this game but it was very short. Lots of talking but you can skip it and also the mini games if you want. Didn't have sound on. See more See less

I liked this game ok. The mini games were cute but, it kind of irritated me that it always finished it for me! I would get just about done and it would finish on it's own. I know, sort of silly to complain about, huh? The hide and seek parts weren't very challenging. I could pretty much click on the objects that I thought looked out of place and not even look at the list. Overall, a cute game. WAY too much reading. It took most of my time just clicking through all of those scenes. Ok for the trial but, will not be buying. Maybe when/if it goes to the free play I will consider downloading it again. For now, the uninstall button. Hope this helps! See more See less
