This game kept me entertained. I really enjoy these HO adventure games that aren't so dark and scary. I never listen to the soundtrack with these types of games as I get spooked and jumpy. Instead, I pull up my itunes library and listen to my choice of music while playing a pretty solid game. Puzzles were unique. My only two comments for improvement would be a map and better directions on some of the puzzles. I found it took forever to get back to a place I needed to get to when I obtained a new object. This is a very extensive game. The game is laid out logically, so it's easy to find your way through playing. Lots of objects to find and a lot of back and forth to find them. If you can't open one door or complete a puzzle, keep playing and you'll find it. The hint only works if there is something to do in the area. I had some issues with not being able to use what I had in my inventory. You have to use specific items to open/complete puzzles. This game took me a long time to play. So it was interesting and I played until the end. I throughly enjoyed the game and the ending. Made me feel like I wasted all my efforts... can't wait for the sequel. You can set it to widescreen and the game closes. But once you reopen, you'll get widescreen instead of the black bars. I didn't discover this until after I finished the game. I highly recommend this game for those who will stick it out until the end. It's well made and well thought out. I highly recommend this game. See more See less
Cool game but, hint loads up fast, you have to go to room to room to see if theres something to do. To much walking back and forth. Music kinda sucked, I just muted. Easy mini games, they have a skip and HOG was easy. Ending was no ending. To be continued, hate that. See more See less
Good in parts. HOG, graphics, puzzles all ok. Sound I don't have on so can't rate. Hints won't tell you where to go, so you can spend ages testing every location until you find something to do. But the worst part is the storyline. The heroine starts well, then arrives at spooky manor and accepts suggestion of spooky butler that she spend the night, WITHOUT demanding to see her friend. In the morning she prowls round the outside, sees friend at window, decides to get back in to make telephone call - but does she make call - No, she forgets all about it. Then she meets ghost with sob-story and promptly forgets all about friend, electing for no good reason to help ghost instead. Friends like this I can do without. However, if you don't mind holes in the storyline you can drive a bus through, this is a good long game that's not hard. See more See less
I don't think I was ever as glad to see an end to a game. Too much running back and forth between the manor and the outside areas. Had to have a walkthrough just to navigate through. Overall, OK for an adventure game. Can't comment on music cause I don't listen to it. Not one of my favorites. See more See less
