Overall not a bad game. A little slow when changing scenes. Very simple HO tasks, items very easy to find. Mini games did not have an explanation of what to do unless you click on hint. Sound was actually OK - do not normally have it on. An experienced HOG player may get bored quickly, but those with only limited experience will have a wonderful time. See more See less

The game was fine until I came to the books. I tried every whichway but loose and I finally figured the game is not worth the effort.Too Bad See more See less

Nothing to complain about with this one. Graphics are excellent, sound I don't have on so can't rate. Gameplay is very straighforward, no walkthrough needed because the hints are enough. The storyline is adequate if improbable, but then they nearly all are. HO not too hard and not too many - although I am tired of seeing those false teeth turning up yet again. Puzzles are generally no problem. There's a curious mixture of costumes, and one or two loose ends - who was the murdered woman at the beginning, and how was the second golem connected to the story. But that's just nitpicking. If you've got nothing better to do you can collect all the gold coins, but there's really no point unless you're passionate about artwork. Overall, this is a game worth playing See more See less

What a fantastic HO adventure! Captivating storyline that kept me playing until 3am! Again, love the less scary and gory HO games. Keep them coming! See more See less

I really enjoyed this game. It was challenging and kept my interest. The captions at the top seem to disappear to quickly but it didn't seem to matter for the game play. I still would have liked to of read the entire sentence before it disappeared. I think you may be able to click where you are at for it to appear again. I found this out in one place at the end...not sure if applies throughout the game. I was not happy when I got to giving the Uncle his items. Apparently I did it backwards or something and had to start the game over. No matter what I did, I was still told in the tasks of the diary that I had this left to do. But I'd already done it and the tools were not there to do it again. Luckily, I speeded through the entire game, which is when I saw I was almost at the end. So be sure to give the items to the Uncle in the order the Uncle requests! Graphics were good, sound was fine, no complaints! All in all an awesome game! I hope there is a follow up game! Agree with Nee.Can't get past the books. Even went to a walkthrough and put the books in the correct order. Still nothing. So I'm stuck here. Any suggestions. See more See less
