The game overall is interesting but has a few annoying points. Number 1 being the "hint" button is worse than useless. It is a tiny blue sparkle which you have to be quick to see before it disappears, also if you are in an area where no action exists then it does nothing at all. Some written dialog would help to get you on the right track, e.g. "maybe I should try the library". There are no instructions on any of the mini games and puzzles you have to work it out for yourself. There are a loads of hidden object scenes and very little else. It is frustrating that some HOS items are loosing something in translation,e.g. a clock is a watch in some scenes but not in others and what looks like a jewellry box is listed as a chest. There is plenty of interest in the game and it does last a good length of time, but if you get stuck there is nothing to help you except the forum, for which you have to close the game. It wasn't an expensive game but when you get used to its quirks it is okay See more See less

I was able to download the game but it froze where the player's name is entered. Looks like the kind of game I like. Sorry I wasn't able to play. See more See less

Only for advanced users. No instructions for the game or mini games. A trowel is not a shovel and a pitchfork is not a hayfork. It's an okay adventure HOG just not the best. Graphics are dark and grainy on an HD monitor. After 15 minutes, the game loses interest for me. See more See less

Did not care for this game. Too dark and slow. No instructions on the mini games so you are pretty much on your own playing them. See more See less

Excellent amount of minigames and varied. I'm a more seasoned player (when Tetris was new)and I get the macabre but some of it just doesn't even make any sense. It's thrown in there just to be "spooky." I challenge them to make more games with a more original, challenging theme. See more See less

I found the graphics to be a little dark at times which made it hard to find certain objects. The mini-games were good, but some were too hard and I had to skip them. (The option of skipping was great though.) The storyline was lacking in detail and the ending came before anything was ever revealed. There's definitely another one coming out and I would hope it's better than this one. Definitely confusing as to what the story could be. You never find the father and the uncle isn't any help. Really nothing more than a HOG w/ mini-games. See more See less
