Well, ANYONE who thinks this is "great" has obviously NEVER played the origional Margrave Manor! This is absolutely awful! It isn't as realistic, or beautiful as the first. Her accent is wrong, and the person who took her IN as a child was a woman named Ms Thorne. Not her godfather, whoever HE is. The animation is cheap, and the sound is even worse. The first one used pictures of REAL people, not non- animated cartoon drawings! Iwin, you better not "remake" this game again. Shame on you. See more See less

This is an old game, and it shows. It is a straight HOG with jigsaw puzzles here and there that help move the story along. I don't like HOGs much, but I played the trial, and the story kind of sucked me in. Besides, I have the second and third games, and wanted to do them in order. By the demos, they get progressively better, with more interaction, adventuring, and puzzles. The graphics on this game are quite acceptable, most items not too hard to find. Hints are generous. I liked the music as well. No voiceovers, but the conversations are interesting. The game is quite long, too long, IMHO, because the same rooms over and over get boring. The worst of it was that every few scenes you got a "flashlight". Yes, just a spot of light you move around looking for stuff. That's bad. But worse is the game has lots of STDs, and some of THOSE are flashlight scenes! And the flashlight only lights up one side at a time. Ay, caramba! Not a thinking game, but okay as background for the new ones. See more See less

Just an average game - graphics and sounds are fine without exciting. But the gameplay is dull with no thinking required. Passes the time well enough See more See less

I was enjoying the game, but it took me to a place where there should have been a puzzle and the only choice was MENU, so I couldn't complete the game. See more See less

Really enjoying this game. Straight HOG with a real nice storyline and graphics. Was leery about downloading it as I had so much trouble with the first one. It's a nice long game too, keeps you interested in what is going to happen. Good work IWIN. See more See less
