Youda Legend: The Golden Bird of Paradise User Reviews
The graphics are just ok with some very dark areas, which doesn't help with the very crowded scenes when looking for hidden objects. I have never used so many hints in the first 2 scenes in a HOG in my life. It can get frustrating. There is a magnifying glass available, but it doesn't help much since it distorts the area. The overall tone to the game is rather depressing to me for some reason. The mini games or puzzles have little to no instructions, but they can be skipped. If I buy this game, it will be for the puzzles which I like more then hunting for hidden objects. I looked at a walkthrough and the game doesn't appear all that long itself. Trying to find all the hidden objects will make it seem longer. If I remember correctly, I liked the first Youda Legend better.

This is the last YOUDA game I'll test run. Terrible graphics were too dark! The creators grasp of english is still awful. They list a purse, but mean a satchel. I hate hunting around for misnamed items. Play was choppy and trying to use collected items took 2 or 3 grabs before you got it free of the suitcase. The suitcase popping open every time I went near the bottom of the screen was also very annoying. Waste of time.

Really fascinating, this is one game that gets your brain involved while you have lots of fun. There is no timer, the hint system is good, the options in the menu include adjusting the brightness which prevents a lot of those dark areas, you can skip mini-games, but you also have the option of getting a hint if you just get stuck and need a nudge in the right direction. This is a very engaging game with, I think, replay value.

This game was mediocre at best. It started off promising but quickly took a nose dive. Again, as the mass producers of HOGs these days, the scenes looked like a garage sale, junk piled on top of junk in a slightly blurred scenes. Many objects were obscured by darkness or were just too small to see for my 50 year old eyes. The same musical phrase played over and over again. It became annoying, turned if off. I quit at the mini game piecing the torn map together. Despite having all the pieces assembled together correctly, the game wouldn't recognize it as completed. This game is too labor intensive to be fun. Try at your own risk.

This was one of the most disappointing and upsetting Youda games I've ever played. The hidden object scenes looked dark that I barely could find at least 1 object without using the hints. The scenes look liked a tornado just hit those locations. I'm really sorry to say this, but this game has got to be returned to the company it was made in and be fixed and returned so the people who said it had a poor performance can enjoy it.

I am so sorry I bought this. Legends Amsterdam was great. I've played it several times. The graphics are like a washed out, indistinct photo and the objects almost invisible. Even the hints don't help. You still can't see the object and when you do click on it, you have to guess what it was. (I couldn't figure out how to give the graphics NO stars.) The story line is reasonable, but the mechanics are terrible. Definitely a disappointment.

This game is just a little tougher than the average HOG. Objects blend in with the background a little more and finding all of the jewels is tough. The story line is enough to keep you interested in what happensn next and the music is actually tollerable. The hint bar fills quickly as opposed to other games of this type and the mini games can either be skipped or there is a hint you can use but both come with a price. Really not a bad game at all, along the lines of standard.
