Beloved Game Show Brand Launches On Leading Social Networking Site

SAN FRANCISCO – April 14, 2010 – iWin, Inc., FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) and Backstage Technologies Incorporated, today announced the success of Family Feud™ for Facebook.

Family Feud for Facebook quietly launched on March 12, 2010. Since then, it has become one of the fastest growing games on Facebook, with over one million unique players in fewer than 30 days.

Based on the long-running, Emmy Award-winning TV game show produced by FremantleMedia North America, the Facebook version of Family Feud™ will not only remain true to the essence of the show but offer an added twist, whereby fans can play alongside friends and family through the Facebook social network.

Following the original TV show, which will launch its 12th season in national syndication with new host Steve Harvey the week of September 13th, the Facebook version of Family Feud™ encourages players to give the most popular responses to survey questions previously posed to 100 people. Players can then earn huge bonuses if their Facebook friends help them reach a certain level in the famed ‘Fast Money’ round. There are over eleven thousand survey questions in the game, with new content added every week.

"Our aim when creating the game was to embrace the social element of Facebook and combine it with the long-standing principles of the show," commented David Fox, VP of Technology at iWin, Inc., in making the announcement. "Players will be able to interact with others, share amusing survey questions and barter for rare prizes – and what better platform to do this on than Facebook."

"iWin has been a fantastic long-standing partner of FME, and we are excited for them to bring one of our most engaging brands to this new platform," added Olivier Delfosse, Director of Interactive for FME. "We believe that as an inherently social game, Family Feud’s participatory gameplay should be a hit on Facebook".

Backstage Technologies Incorporated will use their expertise in monetizing social games to develop a framework for players to collect and trade Family Feud-themed virtual goods on-line. There are eight stages of prizes for players and their friends to unlock and eventually win.

Family Feud™ on Facebook is accessible to any Facebook account holder at http://apps.facebook.com/thefeud/
